Join us in a world where excellence knows no boundaries!\n For our location in Leiden, we are looking for an enthusiastic Pilot Plant Buffer & Media Operator to join a new team.\nIn this position you will be part of a production operations team that produces end-to-end clinical material for advanced therapies, specially focused on cell and gene therapies. This includes production of media & buffers, cell banks, starting material like virus seeds and plasmids, API and DS for several different modalities.\nYou will be required to adhere to GxP guidelines and for some activities you will be required to enter clean rooms. Your activities will include:\nProduction of a wide range of buffers and media for both GMP and non-GMP applications.\nBuffer/Media Preparation on scales ranging from 10 ml to 200L.\nSupporting the introduction of new buffers for new processes.\nSupporting the equipment & material introduction for new buffers and processes.\nSupport other areas of operations as required.\n MLO degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or related sciences;\nExperience in a pharmaceutical environment and knowledge of GxP is preferred;\nYou are flexible and proactive;\nYou enjoy working in a team and communicate well;\nYou are accurate, and have great attention to detail;\nYou can work independently;\nYou are a quick learner who thrives in a dynamic environment;\nYou are self-motivated with a positive attitude;\nYou enjoy volunteering your ideas and working on continuously improving your environment.\nYou are fluent in English (Spoken/written)\n Working at PSS means working with highly motivated people with a can-do mentality.
