Eurofins companies offer a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.\n Job Summary\nThe Software Programmer will be a member of the Quality Engineering team supporting the pharmaceutical laboratories. The employee will develop custom computer scripts to support the laboratories with data transfer from laboratory instrumentation, consolidation and configuration of data to enable decision making on test data.\nSoftware Programmer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nResearch and work with internal teams to develop new custom spreadsheets containing new custom code to automate data interpretation, consolidation and transfer\nGenerate validation documents (e.g. URS, FRS, IQ/OQ, UAT) and execute testing to ensure accurate and reliable performance in accordance with established procedures to meet client and regulatory requirements\nPerform review of spreadsheets to meet validation requirements\nPerform changes to existing spreadsheet code\n The ideal candidate would possess:\nProgramming knowledge of Visual Basic\nStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skills\nExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude\nAbility to research and learn new techniques quickly, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies\nKnowledge of GxP compliance in a pharmaceutical setting\nBasic Minimum Qualifications:\nExperience with Visual Basic code development \nA degree/certification in science, engineering, computer systems, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one year of education in related major)\nExperience with technical writing\nAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship\n Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with additional hours, as needed.
