The candidate will work directly on the client site in Cambridge, MA. This role will be responsible for characterizing peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), primary cells isolated from human biospecimens, and organoid models. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in multiparameter flow cytometry, immunophenotyping, assay development, and data analysis, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in support of discovery and translational research.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, optimize, and execute multiparameter flow cytometry assays to characterize immune and non-immune cell populations.\nSupport immunophenotyping of PBMCs, primary cells derived from human biospecimens, and organoid-based models.\nDevelop and validate antibody panels for cell lineage, activation state, phenotype, and functional readouts.\nPerform sample preparation, staining, instrument setup, compensation, quality control, and acquisition on flow cytometers.\nAnalyze flow cytometry data using appropriate software and statistical methods; generate high-quality figures, summaries, and reports.\nCollaborate with scientists within the client team and broader Immunology teams to support experimental design and interpretation.\nMaintain rigorous documentation of protocols, experimental conditions, and results in compliance with internal standards.\nTroubleshoot technical issues related to sample handling, staining performance, instrument operation, and data quality.\nContribute to method development for emerging sample types, including organoids and scarce human biospecimens.\nBasic Minimum Qualifications:\nRequired Qualifications\nB.S. or M.S. with 8+ years of experience or Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience.\nDegree in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.\nHands-on experience with flow cytometry, including sample preparation, staining, acquisition, and analysis.\nWorking knowledge of PBMC isolation, primary human cell handling, and immunophenotyping techniques.\nExperience with organoid models and/or human biospecimens and awareness of related handling and quality considerations.\nStrong understanding of immune cell markers and flow cytometry assay design.\nProficiency with flow cytometry analysis software such as FlowJo, FACSDiva, or equivalent.\nStrong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced research environment.\nAuthorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.\n The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.
