These include:o Preparation of samples using standard techniques\no Performing chemical analysis using standard techniques\no Calculating data\no Recording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor\no Performing routine instrument maintenance\n\nResponsible for performing job functions in compliance with Eurofins’ EHS and QA standards\nResponsible for general housekeeping in his/her work area\nAbility to become trained and competent on complex instrumentation including but not limited to gas chromatography, gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument specific data systems.\nWorks under close supervision using routine and standard methods\nAliquots and weighs samples\nWashes glassware\nConducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nThe ideal candidate would possess:\nAbility to use calculator/mathematical formulas and concepts\nAbility to complete work within time and quality constraints\nCan work independently following written or verbal instructions\nCooperate and coordinate both orally and in writing\nAble to follow and learn appropriate protocols in one or more of the following disciplines:o Organic preparation\no Metals preparation and analysis\no Gas Chromatography\no Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry\no Radio Chemistry\no Wet Chemistry\no High Resolution preparation and analysis\no Low Resolution preparation and analysis\n\n Basic Minimum Qualifications :\nBS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree.\nLaboratory experience is a plus\nPrevious production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines)\n Requirements:\nAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship\nProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English\nPosition is full-time Monday - Friday 10 am - 6 pm.
