As a Laboratory Supervisor with the Eurofins Discovery ADMETox team, you'll lead a talented group of scientists, oversee critical laboratory operations, and ensure the successful execution of studies that support drug discovery and development. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through both scientific leadership and team development.\nHere's what you'll do:\nLead daily laboratory operations, balancing people, equipment, schedules, and priorities to meet client commitments, quality standards, and turnaround expectations.\nWork hands-on alongside the team to support cell-based assays, high-content imaging, high-throughput screening, and related ADMET laboratory activities.\nCoach and develop laboratory staff through clear expectations, technical guidance, training, competency assessment, performance feedback, and career development.\nForecast workload and resource needs; coordinate coverage and adjust priorities to maintain business continuity and on-time delivery.\nEnsure laboratory activities comply with approved procedures, quality requirements, client contracts, Environmental Health and Safety standards, and applicable regulations.\nMaintain strong document and data controls, including SOPs, batch records, study data, client deliverables, quality review, and record-retention requirements.\nMonitor performance metrics, identify risks and constraints, and lead practical process improvements that increase quality, productivity, and operational reliability.\nManage and maintain a compliant BSL-2 cell-culture laboratory and promote aseptic technique, cleanroom practices, and a strong culture of safety.\nOversee laboratory equipment and automation platforms, including evaluation, validation, qualification, maintenance, acquisition, implementation, and lifecycle planning.\nManage laboratory supplies, inventory, storage, departmental expenses, rebilling support, and financial audit obligations.\nPartner with clients, Study/Technical Directors, Client Services, Product Management, and cross-functional teams on project planning, execution, reporting, interpretation, and issue resolution.\nProvide timely, decision-ready communication on project status, assay requirements, risks, constraints, and escalations to internal and external stakeholders.\nSupport method development, portfolio expansion, site research and development objectives, and other strategic laboratory initiatives.\n The ideal candidate:\nBachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience; master’s degree with 4 years; or Ph.D. with 2 years.\nAt least 3 years of direct experience with cell-based toxicology assays in a contract research organization or industry laboratory.\nDemonstrated experience leading laboratory operations and scientific teams, including workload planning, technical troubleshooting, training, and performance management.\nExperience leading client projects or contract research services from planning through execution and reporting.\nExperience developing, validating, or transferring bioanalytical methods in accordance with relevant FDA, ICH, or OECD guidance.\nProven ability to lead laboratory troubleshooting, process improvement, and method or portfolio expansion in an industry setting.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams, projects, or process-excellence initiatives.\nHands-on experience with LC-MS, LC-UV, high-throughput analytical method development, or high-resolution mass spectrometry in ADME/DMPK or biotherapeutics applications.\nTechnical knowledge of metabolomics as applied to pharmaceutical drug metabolism.\nProject management experience and a track record of leading laboratory operations with limited oversight.\n The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
