This role requires applied experience and proven knowledge in analytical chemistry methods with related experience in a contract research organization (CRO) or industry laboratory.\nLCMS Scientist Responsibilities & Duties Include but are not Limited to the Following:\nPerforms work in a laboratory setting, meeting the physical job requirements of a lab role.\nConducts production assays primarily in ADME Toxicology Services, but may support BioMAP®, Immunosignaling, Ion Channel, and/or OncoPanel™ Services based on business needs.\nDevelops Liquid Chromatography- Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) methods for ADME/ DMPK applications\nDevelops analytical methods supporting project teams both internally and externally for new assay development.\nPerforms Troubleshooting and Maintenance of Mass Spectrometers and HPLC units. Experience with Sciex® or Waters Instrumentation is a plus.\nPrepares and manages inventory of buffers, reagents, semi-finished and finished goods.\nProvides solutions to more complex problems, identifies and initiates process improvements\nMaintains high data quality and reproducibility.\nPerforms data and report QC review within the department, and may support study director.\nTakes ownership of client projects with minimal supervision.\nSupports validation of new methods, and contributes to expansion of service/product line, equipment, and data management systems.\nUnderstands and complies with requirements for work performed at a GxP site.\nCompletes required training and supports 100% of Employee Health and Safety requirements.\nDemonstrates proficiency with, care and maintenance of lab equipment and department assets.\nConducts responsible use of confidential IT and business systems, as required.\nAdheres to department SOPs and documentation requirements, maintains accurate data management and reporting.\nSupports unit goals and demonstrates Eurofins’ competencies, as defined in the job plan.\nProvides training to colleagues and external end users, when required.\nContributes to scientific community, and site research and development objectives.\nWorks effectively in a team environment, under minimum direction, to achieve business production, project timelines, and quality objectives.\nAdjusts work hours and provides cross-functional support to other departments, as required, and maintains accountability in delivering to client needs/timelines.\nRoutinely communicates project updates to internal and external clients.\nPerforms other duties, as assigned/\n Basic Minimum Education Requirements:\nB.S. with minimum 5 years relevant laboratory experience\nM.S. with minimum 3 years relevant laboratory experience\nPh.D. with minimum 1 year relevant laboratory experience\nOr an equivalent of education and laboratory experience\nBasic Minimum Work Requirements:\nDirect experience with Liquid Chromatography- Mass Spectrometry and/or ultraviolet spectrometry (LC-MS or LC-UV) in a contract research organization or industry laboratory for ADME/ DMPK applications\nExperience working in a Quality Management System\nScientific expertise with mass spectrometry-based quantification for ADME/ DMPK applications in biological matrices.\nExperience with analytical method development and optimization\nFamiliarity with concepts of validation of bioanalytical methods in accordance with regulatory (FDA, ICH) guidelines\nExperience with liquid handling, automation, solid-phase extraction (SPE), HTS applications, and large-scale screening\nExperience in small team leadership and project management\nExperience in leading and delivering results in R&D or innovation programs\nAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.\nThe Ideal Candidate Possesses the Following:\nGood communication and interpersonal skills\nDemonstrated proficiency in contributing independently on a project team with time and quality deliverables\nAbility to read, write, and interpret documents, such as standard operating procedures and technical reports\nAbility to perform mathematical calculations, statistical analyses, and data interpretation\nAbility to multitask with organization and manage time effectively\nAbility to solve practical problems and troubleshooting skills\nAbility to work in a laboratory setting, according to physical requirements of a laboratory role\nLab equipment and office computer/software proficiency\nAbove average oral and written communication skills\nDemonstrates a positive attitude, capacity for team environment, and exhibits a genuine interest in drug discovery in support of advancing human health\nAbility to develop new methods, and lead research and development projects\nAbility to review and QC release data/reports\nAbility to lead small, informal sub-teams, train, and train new team members\nAbility to conduct mid-size projects with minimal supervision\nAbility to contribute to strategic vision, establishment of new service lines, equipment, and data management systems\nAbility to easily support cross-functional demands\n Position is full-time working Sunday - Thursday or Saturday - Wednesday 8:00pm - 5:00 PM.
