Eurofins companies offer a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.\n2025, Eurofins generated total revenues of EUR € 7.296 billion, and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years.\nSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:\nContribute to a small team of researchers working on genetic toxicology testing using bacterial test systems (i.e., Ames assay).\nAssist in writing, reviewing and editing reports, protocols and SOP’s.\nTrain other staff members.\nSet-up and conduct experiments in accordance with Protocol and SOP's.\nEfficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision.\nMeticulously maintain precise records of all experiments in accordance with good laboratory practice.\nAssist in the collection of samples for microbial pathogenicity evaluation.\nContribute to development and optimization of toxicology/pathogenicity assays for method validation of microorganism growth and assessment.\nCulture and enumerate infectious bacterial pathogens using routine microbiological techniques.\nParticipate in preparation of documentation for regulatory submissions, present results in project team meetings and document findings in electronic laboratory notebooks.\nFollow all PSL safety requirements.\nAbility to safely wear a respirator required.\nOther duties as assigned.\nACCOUNTABILITY: In Vitro Laboratory Manager\n B.S. or M.S. degree or equivalent experience; in microbiology, toxicology, animal science or biology is preferred.\nThree to five years of experience with standard microbiology methods and procedures is essential. \nComputer proficiency, strong analytical/problem solving skills and management and supervisory skills are desirable. \nThe individual holding this position must be of highest integrity and have a very strong sense of responsibility, be detail orientated with good oral and written communication skills and be willing and able to work with little or no supervision. He/she must be mature, self-motivated, adaptable, and possess a positive attitude towards learning new skills, be well organized, capable of adapting to a broad spectrum of responsibilities and be able to maintain meticulous and accurate records. Humane treatment of all animals and adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is of utmost importance. He/she must have a current tetanus vaccination.\n Positions are full-time, working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with rotating Saturday schedule, overtime as needed.
