The successful candidate will be contributing to early and operational tech development. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for production and analysis of RNA constructs and carrying out preparative and purification chromatography.\nPerform in vitro transcription (IVT) and purification (chromatography, tangential flow filtration) experiments.\nPerform analytical methods including but not limited to capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE), Akta chromatography, HPLC, and ELISA.\nProcess the data and provide data summaries to team members and key stakeholders.\nPrepare buffers, reagents, and stock solutions used for process development activities, following established recipes and SOPs.\nMaintain an updated lab notebook, order materials, maintain lab equipment, and support equipment troubleshooting as needed.\nUphold lab safety to the highest level of standards.\n Basic Minimum Qualifications:\nB.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry (or related field) with 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience, or M.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry (or related field) with at least 6 months of relevant laboratory experience.\nExperience with molecular biology and RNA biochemistry methods including IVT\nExperience with tangential flow filtration (TFF), capillary gel electrophoresis (CGE), Akta chromatography, HPLC, and ELISA.\nExperience with good documentation practices and electronic lab notebooks such as Benchling.\nUnwavering commitment to safety protocols and procedures.\nStrong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication, work planning, data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.\nAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow SOPs, and comply with company policies.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team, inquisitive, self-motivated, and enthusiasm to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.\nAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.\n Preferred Qualifications:\nExperience developing processes for RNA-LNP, protein, mAB, or AAV therapeutics or vaccines (experience with RNA therapeutics is preferred).\n Position is Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
