Join our Purchasing Team in Katowice, Poland, as part of our V.I.E (Volontariat International en Entreprise) programme!\nYou will join the team as a Purchasing Analyst and will contribute to procurement and process improvement projects, helping ensure that deliverables are completed on time and in line with business requirements. This is a unique opportunity to gain international experience while playing an active role in procurement and process transformation projects on a global scale.\nAs a European Economic Area (EEA) national, aged between 18 to 28, Business France’s V.I.E programme is your chance to embrace an international experience in a leading scientific network.\nThe 12-month contract includes a monthly allowance and Business France helps with administrative support for a smooth transition abroad. Tour our office: Meet the office - Katowice, Poland.\nHOW CAN YOU HELP US?\nAs an Purchasing Analyst, you will:\nSupport the development and implementation of purchasing strategies for various projects.\nHelp launch new processes and associated tools, including supporting change management and communication activities, assisting with end-user training, and promoting adoption.\nParticipate in the monitoring and continuous improvement of newly launched processes and associated tools.\nAssist in process transformation projects by helping define objectives, deliverables and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.\nCoordinate with suppliers, internal stakeholders and team members to support the timely delivery of project outcomes.\nSupport the monitoring and tracking of project budgets, helping to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with financial guidelines.\nPrepare and share regular project status updates with the Purchasing Manager and relevant stakeholders across the network.\nAnalyse current processes to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.\nConduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.\nCollaborate closely with internal departments to understand project requirements, business needs and timelines.\nMaintain accurate procurement records and contribute to the monitoring and delivery of Purchasing Team KPIs.\nAssist in resolving procurement-related challenges anddiscrepancies.\nEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, internal procedures and policies.\n ARE YOU OUR KIND OF EXTRAORDINARY?\nEducation: Master’s degree in business, engineering, economics, data science, or a related field.\nTechnical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and Adobe Suite.\nInterpersonal skills: Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills, with a mindset for continuous process improvement. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
