Young and dynamic, we have a rich culture and we offer fulfilling careers.\nPosition title: QA Test Engineer - Automation (Full-time)\nLocation: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India\nShift timings: 12.00pm to 9.00pm IST\nWork mode: Hybrid - 3 Days office\nJob Description\nSUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:\nThe main objective of this position is to plan, design, develop and execute the test suite to identify major defects early during the STLC and develop automation scripts where required to bring maximum ROI.\nPOSITION & OBJECTIVES:\nResponsibilities\nMandatory\nDevelop test automation scripts using C#, Selenium, Protractor\nHands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance and load testing\nAssist with enhancing the automation test framework by supporting a continuous integration environment with an automated smoke and regression test suite.\nParticipate in the refinement of user requirements associated with new product features and updates to existing product features by providing testing-related input.\nDocument test cases which will be used throughout the testing life cycle: end-to-end, sanity testing and regression testing.\nParticipate in reviews of test case design, test case coverage and script design with project stakeholders.\nEngage with Product owner and functional analyst to clarify the requirements and strengthen the test suite.\nIdentify gaps in test coverage. Perform root cause analysis of escape defects and write test scenarios to fill the gap.\nMust have knowledge on Web API testing (say using Postman or any API tools)\nMust have SQL skills to write join and sub queries to validate the test results using the underlying database.\nExecute, monitor, and analyze test results by aligning test case coverage to organization metrics.\nTrack, manage and resolve defects using TFS.\nCoordinate issue resolution as required with broader team of QA, Developers and Product Management\nCarry out functional testing where automation is not possible.\nAgile/Scrum method of development.\nTechnical Knowledge\n3+ years of experience in automation testing using C#, Java, Python,\nExperience in Automation testing, C# or Java, API testing, BDD Cucumber, Selenium, postman, rest assure, SQL\nHands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance and load testing\nExperience in testing API/web services using any API tools (e.g. Postman).\nExperience in test case design using various testing techniques.\nGood experience of SQL\nGood to have: Exposure to Performance testing tools and processes -
