This role offers a unique opportunity to join the business during an exciting period of growth and transition.\n SAF Engineering Responsibilities:\nServe as a customer technical contact.\nInterpret standards and apply the requirements to products under investigation.\nCreate and implement test procedures.\nConduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results.\nEnsure that test equipment is calibrated or tested and operates properly.\nInterface with and update the Lab Manager(s), Team Leader(s) and Project Coordinator(s).\nMonitors multiple projects underway.\nPrepare certification reports and related documents.\nEmployee Standards:\nSupport department objectives and company goals\nBe a team player\nSustain a positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude always\nAccommodate requests with a smile and “let me see what I can do” attitude\nAdhere to manager directives\nMaintain a professional appearance and demeanor\nArrive on time, properly dressed, and prepared to work\nPerform all duties in a timely, accurate, honest, and professional manner\nCommunicate with customers professionally and in accordance with customer service standards\nBe respectful of others\n Qualifications:\nFour-year college Engineering degree, or other technical degree with relevant work experience\nFour years of direct work experience in product safety engineering and hazardous location equipment product safety engineering.\nSkills/Requirements:\nAbility to maintain confidentially\nNeeds to be receptive to and accepting guidance from others\nAbility to deal with difficult people and problems\nAble to work well in a team environment\nAble to work in a diverse group of people\nAttention to detail\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize assignments\nProfessional appearance\nWilling to travel\nPhysical Demands:\nAble to sit or stand for long periods of time\nAble to lift up to 30 pounds\n Position is full-time working Monday - Friday 09:00am - 5:00 pm,and additional hours as needed.
