Clients include consultants, industry, real estate, healthcare, government, and homeowners.\nServices cover a wide range of tests, including asbestos (PLM/TEM), mold, bacteria, VOCs, allergens, Legionella, radon, lead, silica, and more.\n This position is expected to assist and oversee all the different aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPrepare samples from processing \nAccepts and signs for deliveries. \nAssists in unloading shipments from delivery truck. \nOpens coolers and inspects contents of shipments. Checks documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for. \nDistributes samples in different departments as appropriate. \nFollows strict safety and quality control procedures. \nStores, restocks, and shelves samples as necessary. \nEnsures that work area is clean and organized. \nEnters records in LIMS system \n Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED is required.\nAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship\nProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English\nAbility and/ or Skills:\nDemonstrates strong organizational skills. \nPays close attention to detail. \nPossesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes received by the lab. \nExhibits ability to use LIMS software competently. \nPossesses basic math skills. \nWorks well with a team. \nCommunicates clearly and effectively. \nDemonstrates strong interpersonal skills. \nHandles issues calmly and politely. \nManages time efficiently. \nDemonstrates solid problem-solving skills. \nIs capable of operating forklifts and other equipment to move heavy shipments. \nDemonstrates awareness of safety procedures\n Position is full-time, Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm with possibility of overtime.\nThe salary for this position is $18 / hour\nCandidates within a commutable distance to El Paso, TX are encouraged to apply.\nEurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base compensation of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.\nAs a Eurofins employee, you will become part of a company that has received national recognition as a great place to work.
