From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate.\nEurofins is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet, and to its corporate responsibility to protect the environment and ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion across the entire network of Eurofins companies.\n Position Summary:\nInterpreting and entering client samples into computer system; managing large projects; maintaining client files; delivering rush samples; serving as information contact at receipt of samples in an efficient and detailed manner with a high degree of quality\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nApplies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate\nDemonstrates and promotes the company vision\nRegular attendance and punctuality\nModerate sample interpretation of clients’ analytical requirements and data entry into computer system by keeping up-to-date with technical center requirements\nProject management of client projects; liaison between project manager and Sample Registration \nDelivery of rush samples to appropriate technical centers\nMaintain client files containing quotes, purchase orders, bottle orders, and incoming sample activity records\nHandling of incoming informational calls into department\nRead, understand, and carry out standard operating procedures; follow all safety precautions and procedures\nUnpack sample kits and coolers received at lab\nProvide training assistance within department to new and/or current employees\nAssist as needed throughout the department (labeling samples, filing paperwork, etc\nConducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nRole is full time: Tuesday - Saturday, 2nd shift, 4pm-12:30am. Training will be M-F 1st shift, 8am-4:30pm.\n Basic Minimum Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently \nComputer skills, including data entry \nProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.\nAuthorization to work in the United States without restriction or Sponsorship\nIdeal Candidates will have:\n1+ years of related laboratory experience\nAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing \nStrong organizational skills and detail orientation \nAbility to work independently and as part of a team \nAbility to stay productive during times of high volumes of incoming samples\nAble to retain large amounts of information \n Pay rate: $17.75/hour + 10% shift differential\nPlease note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.\nAs a Eurofins employee, you will become part of a company that has received national recognition as a great place to work.
