Automation (Full-time)\nLocation: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India\nPosition & Objective-Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain automation test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG/JUnit.\nEnhance and maintain automation frameworks supporting CI/CD pipelines and enabling automated smoke and regression test suites.\nWork closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine requirements and provide QA inputs.\nDesign and document test cases, test scenarios, and test strategies across functional, regression, and end-to-end testing cycles.\nParticipate in reviews of test design, coverage, and automation scripts with stakeholders.\nIdentify gaps in test coverage, perform root cause analysis of defects, and enhance test scenarios accordingly.\nPerform API testing for RESTful and SOAP services using tools such as Postman and RestAssured.\nWrite SQL queries (joins, subqueries) to validate test results against underlying databases.\nExecute, monitor, and analyze test results aligned with test metrics and quality KPIs.\nTrack, manage, and resolve defects using tools such as Azure DevOps/JIRA.\nCollaborate with QA, Development, and Product teams for issue resolution.\nPerform manual testing (functional, exploratory) where automation is not feasible.\nWork in an Agile/Scrum environment with continuous testing practices.\nTechnical Knowledge\n4 to 7 years of experience in automation testing with Java (preferred).\nStrong expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG or JUnit frameworks.\nExperience in BDD frameworks (Cucumber) is a plus.\nHands-on experience testing REST APIs and Web Services (Postman, RestAssured).\nFamiliarity with frontend automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).\nStrong knowledge of SQL for backend validation.\nExperience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).\nUnderstanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems testing.\nGood to have:
