This role offers a unique opportunity to join the business during an exciting period of growth and transition.\n Eurofins E&E is seeking a Senior Reliability Test Engineer - Environmental Simulation Lab to perform, document, and oversee product testing in accordance with national and international standards. This role is responsible for developing test plans, executing environmental and electrical tests, analyzing data, and preparing engineering reports. The Test Engineer works directly with customers, technicians, and internal teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely test execution in a fast-paced laboratory environment.\n Key Responsibilities:\nSupport and maintain environmental testing equipment, including thermal chambers, vibration tables, shock testers, and humidity control systems.\nTroubleshoot and resolve equipment failures, calibration issues, and test anomalies to minimize downtime.\nEnsure compliance with ISO 17025, ASTM, MIL-STD-810, IEC 60068, ISTA, and other regulatory standards.\nAssist in root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA, FMEA, FTA, Six Sigma techniques) for test failures.\nWork with test engineers and technicians to optimize testing procedures and improve operational efficiency.\nDevelop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment maintenance and test execution.\nSupport regulatory audits and accreditation processes by ensuring all test systems meet certification requirements.\nImplement continuous improvement initiatives in reliability testing, lab efficiency, and process automation.\nTrain lab personnel on proper test setup, equipment operation, and troubleshooting techniques.\nCollaborate with customers to address technical inquiries, review test plans, and recommend solutions for environmental testing challenges.\nEmployee Standards:\nSupport department objectives and company goals\nBe a team player\nSustain a positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude at all times\nAccommodate requests with a smile and “can do” attitude\nAdhere to manager directives\nMaintain a professional appearance and demeanor\nArrive on time, properly dressed and prepared to work\nPerform all duties in a timely, accurate, honest, and professional manner\nCommunicate with customers professionally and in accordance with customer service standards\nBe respectful of others\nReporting:\nThis position reports directly to the Manager of the Environmental Simulation Laboratory\n Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.\n10+ years of experience in environmental testing, sustaining engineering, or reliability engineering.\nHands-on experience with climatic, mechanical, and corrosion test equipment.\nKnowledge of data acquisition, test automation, and analysis tools (e.g., LabVIEW, MATLAB, Minitab, Python).\nFamiliarity with failure analysis, predictive maintenance, and statistical process control (SPC).\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to follow mechanical and electrical setup diagrams/instructions\nBasic understanding of physics, electricity, and electronics\nExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)\nAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused testing environment.\n Preferred Skills:\nExperience working in an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory.\nCertification in Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Six Sigma, or ASQ Quality Engineering.\nBackground in product validation, shock, and climate testing for aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or consumer electronics.\nFamiliarity with battery testing, HALT/HASS, or accelerated life testing methodologies.\nMIL-STD-810\nAutomotive standard (LV124, VW80000, ISO 16750)\nThe right candidate could receive a senior title for this position.\nRequirements:\nAbility to maintain confidentially\nNeeds to be receptive to and accept guidance from others\nAbility to deal with difficult people and problems\nAble to work well in a team environment\nAble to work in a diverse group of people\nAttention to detail\nWilling to work overtime as necessary\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize assignments\nPerform other duties as assigned\nTravel as needed according to company guidelines\nPhysical Demands:\nAble to stand or sit for long periods of time\nAble to lift 50 pounds\nAbility to climb ladders and use scissor lifts to mount devices, such as antennas\nAbility to safely use power tools and perform light machining\n Compensation:\n$40 to $55 per hour\nSchedule:\nMonday -
