in Software Engineering, Development, or a similar technical role.\nExperience with at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C#, or Go.\nUnderstanding of software development practices, version control, and APIs.\nKnowledge of web application fundamentals, including authentication and access controls.\nAbility to read and understand code.\nA genuine interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn.\nStrong communication and organisational skills.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related discipline. \nNice to Have\nFamiliarity with OWASP Top 10 or common application security concepts.\nExposure to vulnerability scanning or security testing tools.\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.\nKnowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.\nAwareness of ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR, or related standards.\nSecurity certifications such as Security+,
