Overview of the role.\nOverview of the role\nWe build the demographic, socio-economic and macroeconomic datasets that Euromonitor clients around the world rely on to make decisions. We are looking for a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst to help standardise, model and forecast that data - turning messy, inconsistent source statistics into figures people can actually compare and trust.\nIt is a role for someone who likes solving problems with data: sharpening our modelling and forecasting techniques, and finding new ways to improve data quality and comparability rather than just maintaining the status quo.\nRequirements\nWhat you’ll do\n Analyze and manipulate datasets, carrying out calculations and numerical analysis using R. \nStandardize raw statistical data to ensure cross-source comparability. \nExtrapolate and interpolate data using both quantitative and qualitative methods to develop modelling and forecasting techniques. \nMonitor, review, and enhance data quality. \nDocument all work processes to ensure team alignment and best practices. \nLiaise with sales and marketing departments and handle client queries. \nWhat we’re looking for\nBackground in mathematics, econometrics, data science, statistics or similar fields. \nProficiency in R.
