We are looking for a Strategy Business Analyst (VIE) to join the Power Derivatives team at Nord Pool, part of Euronext. The position will be based in Oslo and start in January 2027 for an initial period of 12 months (with the possibility of extension). You will report to the Head of Power Derivatives.\nYou will primarily be responsible for:\nSupporting the development and scaling of the Power Derivatives business line through business development, market analysis and project coordination\nCollaborating with departments across Euronext Group, including Sales, Product, Finance and Legal, to ensure alignment and contribute to cross-functional initiatives\nMonitoring the competitive landscape, conducting screening analysis and reporting on business performance\nUndertaking market analysis to identify opportunities and customer needs, including desktop research, client meetings and conference attendance\nAnalysing business performance, identifying improvements and proposing actionable solutions\nSupporting the onboarding process for new clients in collaboration with the Nord Pool sales team and Euronext membership department\nProducing high-quality materials (spreadsheets, presentations) to communicate results and recommendations\nContributing to strategic initiatives such as expansion into new markets or the launch of new products\nYour profile:\nMaster’s degree or equivalent in business, economics, finance or engineering\nAt least one successful internship or work experience in the energy industry, strategy consulting or a fast-growing business\nExperience analysing data, creating reports and presentations, and working with large data sets\nFluent in English; French or a Nordic language is a plus\nStrong interest in energy economics, power markets and the energy sector\nExperience in project management\nExcellent planning, organisational, problem-solving, time management and communication skills\nProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; PowerBI is a plus\nFast learner with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working autonomously\nAbility to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities\nJoin a company where market infrastructure is built on innovation - and where every innovation starts with a bold mind asking, “What’s next?”.
