Under this new approach, each business domain is responsible for implementing its own data governance programme, with direction and support from the Group Data Governance team. The Clearing domain, responsible for managing the Clearing data of Euronext, is now seeking a dedicated Data Steward to collaborate with the Data Governance Lead ensuring metadata management, data quality, and compliance across its data assets, and to help embed governance practices into day-to-day operations.\nKey responsibilities\nData Governance alignment & strategy\nPartner with the Data Governance Lead to operationalize enterprise data policies, standards, and guidelines within the domain.\nAct as the voice of the business domain providing feedback to the Data Governance Lead on the practicality, challenges, and impact of enterprise policies.\nIdentify, log, and resolve domain-specific data issues, escalating to the Data Governance Lead for broader resolution.\nPromoting data literacy and awareness of data governance practices across domain teams \nData Cataloguing: Data Asset & Metadata Management\nEnsuring accurate documentation of domain data assets in the enterprise data catalogue. \nManaging metadata (glossary, lineage) and processes to ensure proper use of data being read, created, collected, reported, updated, or deleted. \nMaintaining proper data lineage, user interactions, transformations along the data pipeline. \nUpdating business terms and technical definitions within metadata management tool. \nSupport the classification & tagging of sensitive or critical data and the identification of repositories that hold this data \nData Quality Management\nMaintaining and improving the quality, integrity, and accuracy of domain data assets. \nCreation of data quality checks within enterprise data observability tool\nMonitoring key data quality indicators (DQIs) and resolving data issues in collaboration with business and IT. \nCollaborating with business and IT to define and enforce data standards, business rules, and validation checks. \nTrack and report domain data quality metrics to the Data Governance Lead to contribute to the group data health scorecard.\nData Product Support (Data Mesh Aligned)\nSupporting domain data product owners in the documentation and governance of data products.\nEnsuring data products are properly described, discoverable, and aligned with metadata standards.\nContribution to the definition of data product quality metrics, SLAs, and lifecycle documentation.\n3+ years experience in data management, business analysis, or a similar role. \nStrong understanding and experience of data governance principles, data quality management, and metadata management. \nFamiliarity with data governance tools (Data Catalog’s, Data Quality Observability)\nDemonstrate a minimum level of expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation\nDisplay curiosity for emerging technologies and artificial intelligence solutions\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work across business and technical stakeholders. \nStrong relationship-building skills to successfully navigate a matrixed environment.\nAttention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. \nCDMP Qualification a plus\nDesirable Skills\nExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. \nExperience working in a federated data governance or decentralized data environment\nApply by submitting a CV in English.\nJoin a company where market infrastructure is built on innovation - and where every innovation starts with a bold mind asking, “What’s next?”.
