The position is based in Porto. This is a unique opportunity to influence a high-impact system within a critical financial infrastructure.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop, unit test, and maintain high-quality backend services using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.\nDesign and implement scalable, event-driven architectures.\nBuild and integrate RESTful APIs aligned with OpenAPI standards.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and system enhancements.\nTroubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.\nParticipate in code reviews and share knowledge with team members.\nSupport unit testing and continuous integration pipelines.\nUse GIT for version control and team collaboration.\nContribute to our observability setup (experience with OpenTelemetry is a plus).\nCreate and maintain clear technical documentation.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nStrong foundation in software engineering principles (e.g. Clean Code, SOLID, basic Domain-Driven Design).\nHands-on experience developing RESTful APIs using Java/Kotlin.\nFamiliarity with event-driven systems; experience with Kafka is a strong plus.\nProficiency in GIT and test-driven development.\nKnowledge of or interest in observability practices (e.g. logs, metrics, tracing).\nExperience with Quarkus or similar frameworks is highly desirable.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.\nApply by submitting a CV in English.\nWhy Join Us?\nEuronext Securities is a key player in Europe’s financial sector.
