As General Manager for Fox Rent A Car at LAX, you'll lead a team, drive real results, and shape the day-to-day of one of the busiest rental operations in the country, all while being part of something bigger.\nYour Primary Focus Is To:\nGuarantee the facility adheres to all OSHA standards and provides expedient resolution to safety hazards; oversee injury documentation and current OSHA 300 logs\nSupports and motivates employees; ensures they have the resources and training to do their job\nSets goals to achieve the company's financial and service targets for the location\nFleet management\nCustomer Service must be a top priority for all employees; monitor/respond to NPS and Google reviews\nMaximize revenue while minimizing and controlling costs\nEstablishes objectives for staffing expenditures relative to rental activity and business requirements; aligns employee rosters with business demand to enhance customer service and operational efficiencies\nMonitors sales practices to avoid deceptive sales practices and reports findings to the Director of Operations\nEnsures the interior location is neat, clean, and organized in presentation, and personnel are appropriately dressed\nMonitors the customer service rendered by all rental agents to make sure the Six-Step Service-Based Sales process is followed and company standards of customer service are maintained\nFollows all established company policies and procedures\nParticipates in all phases of employee leadership/management, including but not limited to mentoring, recruiting, discipline, training, performance reviews, and scheduling\nMonitors and reviews pricing and availability of fleet with Director of Operations and Rate Manager; stays in tune with local market conditions to maximize pricing\nAddresses and responds to customer complaints promptly\nOther duties may be assigned.\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor's degree in business or related field and/or the equivalent combination of education.\nMinimum of five years' experience as a manager or supervisor\nPrevious experience as a manager or supervisor with a rental car company is highly preferred\nSkills & Strengths:\nProven ability to run a high-volume, fast-paced location like it's their own business\nStrong P&L management and a revenue-driving mindset\nConfident, hands-on leadership that gets results through people\nSharp decision-making under pressure\nA track record of building teams that deliver top-tier customer service\nComfortable owning both the numbers and the culture of a location\nCompensation & Benefits:\nThis is an exempt position with an annual salary range of $150,000 to $160,000, based on experience and qualifications.\nWe are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
