At Eutelsat Group, we’re united by inclusion and diversity, striving for gender balance and social responsibility, on Earth and in Space.\nJob Overview\nWe are looking for a 5G/NTN Cybersecurity Expert for the IRIS² programme.\nYou will play a critical role in the activity of review, design and implementation of secure systems, infrastructure and applications to protect our organization's and our customers’ sensitive information and assets. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the 5G part of our LEO system and networks cyber security architecture, ensuring that it complies with our customers’ requirements, regulatory requirements, international security standards including 3GPP, ISO, NIST and industry best practices. You will be involved in the definition of security solutions since the early study phase for projects of key importance. Your expertise will contribute to the overall protection of our LEO systems against cyber threats and based on information security risk management and provide guidance to all our teams on security-related matters.\nWhat You’ll Do\nEnsure the security and resilience of 5G and NTN services\nAssess security requirements for hybrid terrestrial-satellite communication systems\nDefine and review security architectures spanning 5G core networks, Non-terrestrial networks (NTN), satellite communication systems and service orchestration platforms\nSupport the integration of 3GPP NTN capabilities into the end-to-end security design\nReview and contribute to the definition of the security documentation, such as plans, requirements, design, validation and reports\nCollaborate with the System engineering teams to match the security requirements with the end-to-end system architecture\nContribute to security certification and accreditation activities\nContribute on the overall risk assessments and vulnerability assessments process to identify potential security weaknesses\nEnsure requirements compliance through verification, traceability and evidence management\nAnalyze and investigate any security tradeoffs and requests for deviations.\nCollaborate with external partners, security systems integrators, vendors, and auditors to address security-related requirements\nWork closely with IT teams, software developers, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure security measures are implemented effectively\nStay up to date with the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and threats\nWhat You’ll Need\nBachelor's or master’s degree (preferable) in computer science, Information Security, or a related field\nProven experience securing 4G/5G mobile networks\nIn-depth knowledge cyber security risk management, telecom security standards and frameworks (e.g., 3GPP, ISO 27001, ISO 27005, EBIOS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ECSS, CCSDS)\nStrong understanding of 5G core architecture, network slicing security, authentication and key management\nProficiency in security technologies: Network security (Firewall, routing, filtering...);\nVirtualization;\nSoftware security;\nCryptography (PKI, cryptographic protocols...);\nRF security;\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration abilities.\nFluent English; French and other European languages are a plus\nWillingness to travel regularly across the EU to attend meetings and workshops\nThe Position is open to European Union nationals\nWhere You’ll Work\nYou will be based in Issy-les-Moulineaux (France), in a highly technical environment dedicated to IRIS² security and engineering, working closely with the engineering department, the security team and the subcontractors.\nHome office may be considered after initial training and subject to operational constraints.
