In this role, you’ll support day-to-day operations by managing Microsoft 365 and Azure Gov Cloud environments, responding to helpdesk tickets, performing system patching, and maintaining configurations across hybrid systems. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and contributing to a culture of operational excellence.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES\nProvide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support and act as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure,\nauthentication, M365, access, and system-level issues.\nTroubleshoot and resolve advanced user, system, and performance issues across hybrid environments.\nExecute onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management tasks across identity, applications, and devices.\nDeploy, configure, and maintain hybrid server, storage, networking, and endpoint infrastructure across all sites.\nConfigure and deploy applications using centralized management tools such as Company Portal.\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies to\nstreamline operational processes.\nManage, monitor, and validate backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions for hybrid systems.\nPerform regular system updates, patching cycles, and security hardening activities to maintain stability and\ncompliance.\nSupport container deployments, updates, troubleshooting, and availability management.\nLead infrastructure-related projects by translating requirements into technical solutions and coordinating execution\nacross teams.\nImplement, maintain, and continuously improve security policies and technical controls across cloud and on-prem\nenvironments.\nConduct ongoing security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance validation alongside security and\ngovernance teams.\nCoordinate with security and incident response teams on investigations, containment actions, and forensic efforts.\nImplement and administer monitoring and observability solutions such as Azure Monitor and Zabbix.\nConfigure alerting and notification mechanisms to proactively identify system issues and performance degradation.\nAnalyze infrastructure performance metrics and execute optimization strategies to improve reliability, scalability,\nand efficiency.\nTroubleshoot complex system-level failures and coordinate resolution efforts across cross-functional teams.\nMaintain accurate system documentation, architectural diagrams, and runbooks to support operational continuity.\nParticipate in all phases of the infrastructure lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, deployment,\ntesting, integration, cutover, and ongoing maintenance.\nConfigure and deploy hardware, including servers, storage, networking, and endpoint devices at all organizational\nsites to support projects and operational needs.\nEstablishes and maintains cyber security posture for entrusted systems through application of sound cyber security\nengineering principles such as implementation of access control, utilization of least privilege principles, central\nauthentication mechanism deployment, as well as following vendor recommendations.\nPerform other job-related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree\nMinimum 6 years of relevant systems administration experience\nSecurity+ CE certification or equivalent\nScripting experience in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages\nKnowledge of five or more of the following areas:\no Windows Server 2019, 2022\no Windows 11\no Ubuntu 22.04 LTS\no iDRAC and iLO\no Docker\no Enterprise networking\no Endpoint Security\no Vulnerability remediation\nKnowledge of five or more of the following cloud technologies:\no Virtual Machines\no vWAN, vHub, VNet, Subnets, WAF, Application Gateway\no SharePoint\no Exchange\no Entra ID\no Azure Virtual Desktop\no Azure Update Manager\no Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, and Managed Identities\nProfessional Skills\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilities\nExcellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences\nAbility to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with logging and monitoring tools (Zabbix, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)\nBackground in cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0, NIST SP 800-53, RMF)\nFamiliarity with secure baselines and hardening guidelines such as DISA STIGs and CIS Benchmarks\nTechnical Environment\nCloud Platforms: Azure Gov, Microsoft 365 GCC-High\nOperating Systems: Linux (Ubuntu), Windows Server\nAutomation Tools: Ansible, PowerShell, Python\nMonitoring: Azure Monitor, Grafana, Zabbix\nContainerization:
