This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within an organization that values growth, teamwork, and professional development.\nWho You Are:\nAs a UT Operations Engineer at OneWeb, you will play a key role in our business growth. You will work with other Operations Engineering and Development teams to provide tier 3 operational support for the early stages of new user terminals deployment, service support escalations, and new system features deployments.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nProvide Tier 3 Operations Engineer support for User Terminal Service and Operations troubleshooting and debugging \nPerform new firmware and software release planning and testing for a variety of UTs\nDeliver hands on training of new features and user terminals to Operations Team and Distribution Partners\nWork closely with the Dev Engineering and System Engineering to identify issues to improve the performance of UTs\nInvestigate and reproduce reported issues with UT vendors engineers\nCreate and maintain documentation regarding existing standards and processes\nProvide support for installation and configuration of user terminals\nOn-site engagement with technical support from Distribution Partners\nSupport on-call rotation for high priority escalations\nTravel up to 20% of the time\nWhat You’ll Need:\nSystematic and methodical approach to debugging and problem solving\n3+ years experience with SatCom and RF technologies\nExperience with IP networks (routing and switching)\nGood working knowledge and use of Linux OS and experience in Python programming \nExperience in using AI tools, e.g. Claude\nWorking understanding of Cellular Technologies would be desirable, e.g. 3GPP (4G)\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nUnderstanding of regulatory and test standards related to land maritime and aviation industry\nExperience with RF test and measuring equipment\nA degree in a related engineering field (information systems, computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering)\nAbility to articulate problems and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audience\nNice to Have:\nExperience in electrical and mechanical skills required in Satcom\nWhere You’ll Work:\nVirginia, USA, London, UK or Mexico.\nEutelsat treats the protection of personal data submitted to it seriously.
