We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to own those relationships end-to-end — the connective tissue between our commercial team, our external partners, and our engineering and product teams.What you’ll do\n\nOwn a portfolio of technical partner relationships (roughly 6–10 to start), inheriting integration-partner relationship management as it moves into the team — the trusted bridge between what partners and commercial need and what engineering delivers\n\nLead complex integrations from requirements discovery and scoping through project planning, testing, and launch to production\n\nChampion the value of our platform APIs and integrations — conveying use cases, benefits, and the integration process to partners and internal stakeholders alike\n\nCoordinate across Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Support to keep everyone aligned on the critical path and on schedule\n\nDevelop repeatable playbooks so each new integration is faster and more reliable than the last\n\nDefine partner-success metrics beyond uptime and SLAs, and communicate program status, risks, and ROI to leadership\n\nAI-first ways of working\n\nUse AI tooling (Claude and equivalents) as a core part of how you work — drafting partner-facing docs and integration specs, synthesizing status across programs, and turning your playbooks into repeatable, partly-automated workflows\n\nWe're an AI-first company with agentic routines and shared internal tooling; you'll lean on it to stay on top of a broad portfolio and help shape how program management works in an AI-native org\n\nWhat we're looking for\n\n5+ years in technical program management, product management, partnerships, or a related role\n\nStrong technical fluency — comfortable with REST APIs, authentication, and integration patterns (e.g. OpenADR, DERMS, utility platforms) — paired with a genuine commercial mindset\n\nExcellent external communication: you can lead a technical overview for a partner and a status update for an exec with equal ease\n\nA demonstrated ability to align cross-functional stakeholders and drive commitments without direct authority\n\nAlso nice to have\n\nExperience in energy, EV, IoT, or another partner-integration-heavy domain\n\nA track record of building the program-management function at a small or scaling company, not just running project\n\nSalary, benefits & how we workThe salary range for this role is $131,300-$160,900 CAD.\n\nKey benefits include:\nCash amount of up to 10% of your monthly salary, to cover the cost of buying or leasing an EV\n\nEquity, in the form of share options (granted as a % of your salary)\n\nHealthcare provided by Canada Life (Premium plan)\n\nLife assurance of 2x your salary\n\nPaid-for co-working access (on-demand or subscription)\n\nAnnual 'Team Week' whole company offsite\n\nL&D allowance of $1,800 CAD per year\n\nYou can find out more about our full range of perks and benefits here.\n\nLocation & how we work\nThis role is fully remote in Canada, but we're specifically looking for someone based in EST.\nThe majority of people at ev.energy work on a fully remote basis, with a small number of roles based on-site in our testing sites.\nThis means that most of our people work from home, but we're happy to provide co-working subscriptions if you'd like to spend time at a WeWork (or other co-working space close to you).\nWe balance our remote set up by getting everyone together once a year for an offsite, as we know that spending time together IRL is super important.\n\nBelonging at ev.energy\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity: we do not discriminate based on race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status or disability status.
