Our Scenic Project Managers create efficiency within the Scenic team by leading the Scenic elements of projects and collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless, quality delivery.\nWho are you?\nFirst and foremost, you're a team player. You're willing to roll your sleeves up and help your team. We all jump in wherever we are needed at EC.\n\nYou’re comfortable interpreting and understanding Creative briefs and ideas, and fluid designs throughout the project don’t faze you.\n\nYou're a collaborator and understand that effective communication is at the heart of every successful project.\n\nYou have a strong understanding of scenic construction methods and a wide knowledge of materials, including emerging sustainable alternatives.\n\nYou’re happy to share ideas for new initiatives and ways of working, and equally happy to hear other people’s ideas.\n\nYou’re an organised multi-tasker; being across multiple projects doesn’t faze you.\n\nYou are passionate about sustainability. You are aware of what is going on in the wider world, and you use that awareness to continually push for sustainable solutions to Scenic challenges.\n\nIt would also be great if you:\nHave Vectorworks/AutoCAD/SketchUp experience\n\nHave Adobe Creative Suite experience.\n\nConversant in the MS Office suite\n\nExperience of Monday project management system.\n\nYou don’t have to tick every box - we care just as much about curiosity, adaptability and a growth mindset as we do experience on paper.\nDay-to-day responsibilities:\nCollaborate with production teams to translate design concepts into manufacturable scenic elements, ensuring feasibility and client expectations are met.\n\nOffering cost-effective, practical, and sustainable solutions to proposed designs.\n\nProvide precise cost estimates for scenic elements on a project, ensuring accuracy while maintaining a focus on commercial viability and profitability.\n\nClosely manage project budgets throughout the production process.\n\nManage logistics, including equipment, crew coordination, and site delivery/installation in collaboration with operations teams.\n\nLiaising between internal teams (fabrication, warehouse, floristry, technical, and dry hire) and external stakeholders, including clients, venues, agencies, and third-party suppliers\n\nWork closely with the purchasing team to research and source suitable materials for projects, ensuring quality and alignment with project needs.\n\nOversee the production of graphics and ensure alignment with project requirements.\n\nCreate and maintain project timelines, Health & Safety documentation, and detailed resource schedules.\n\nProvide on-site management for scenic installations, challenges and ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.\n\nSupport workshop teams during the manufacturing process and provide regular updates to stakeholders.\n\nConduct site visits, assess logistics, and participate in post-project evaluations to drive process improvements.\n\nRepresenting the Company:\nLiving and demonstrating our company values in your day-to-day work\n\nActively helping us to deliver on our ambitious 2030 Pledge (check it out on our website)\n\nEnsure that the Company’s policies, rules, procedures and obligations are observed in carrying out the above duties.\n\nWhat It’s Like at EC\nAt EC, we’re a team of doers, dreamers, and down-to-earth collaborators.
