Any unsolicited CVs sent will be treated as a gift and will not be subject to any terms or fees. RECRUITERS: please do not call or email us regarding this role.\nTHIS IS A HYBRID ROLE WITH THREE DAYS IN OUR FARRINGDON, LONDON OFFICE.\nStack: Next.js, React and TypeScript on the front end. Laravel and PHP on the back end. Claude Code throughout.\nAbout Eventogy\nEventogy is the event management platform used by investment banks, corporate banks and law firms to run their events, from partner dinners to 3,000-person conferences. Our clients care about the details: who is invited, who approved it, what they have registered for, and what happens to their data afterwards. Governance is what sets us apart.\nWe are a small team rebuilding our platform, and we have changed how we build. Features start as working prototypes, become clear specs, and are increasingly built with AI coding agents. We are looking for someone who can do this well.\nThe role\nThis is not a front-end role or a back-end role. You will be a product builder: someone who takes a feature from spec to production and owns all of it.\nYou will usually start from a ticket with a working prototype, acceptance criteria and a suggested approach. A feature often has both a hub ticket and an API ticket, and you will take both. You will question the spec, fill in the gaps, brief and direct Claude Code, review its output critically, test it and ship it.\nYour strength will be on the front end, but you will be comfortable in our Laravel API whenever a feature needs it.\nWhat you will do:\nBuild features end to end across our Next.js admin hub and attendee websites and our Laravel API\nTurn prototypes and specs into production-quality code, raising gaps and edge cases before you build\nUse AI coding agents as a core part of your workflow, including running work in parallel where it makes sense\nReview agent-written code sceptically, especially around permissions, shared state and data that crosses client boundaries\nWrite and maintain tests, and use our automated test suite and seeded test events to check your work\nShip safely to a live product: non-destructive migrations, feature branches, no surprises for existing clients\nWork closely with product on the why, not just the what\nRequirements\nWhat we are looking for\nFront end is your home:\nStrong Next.js, React and TypeScript, including routing, rendering and data-fetching patterns\nGood component design and state management, and you care about accessibility\nYou build interfaces enterprise users trust: predictable, clear and calm\nBack end does not put you off:\nConfident in an existing Laravel codebase: Eloquent, migrations, repositories, API resources, and feature tests with PHPUnit or Pest\nYou understand data modelling well enough to spot when a change will break existing records\nYou do not need to be a Laravel expert, but you do need to understand what you have shipped\nYou are genuinely good with AI tooling:\nYou use Claude Code, or something similar, daily, and you know how to brief it well\nYou know where it goes wrong, such as shared state, validation, security boundaries and confident-but-wrong fixes, and you check those areas yourself\nYou think like a product person:\nYou ask \"what happens when...?\" before writing code\nYou would rather own a whole feature than one slice of it\nYou write clearly in pull requests, tickets and questions to product\nNice to have:\nB2B or multi-tenant SaaS experience\nExperience in regulated sectors such as finance or legal\nPlaywright or other end-to-end testing\nThis probably is not for you if:\nYou want fully specified tickets with no ambiguity\nYou see AI tools as a gimmick, or as a replacement for understanding the code\nYou only want to work on one side of the stack\nHow we work:\nSmall team, a direct line to product, and short feedback loops\nPrototype first: you will usually see the feature working before you build it\nClear specs written for humans and agents alike\nHow to apply\nSend a CV plus short answers to two questions:\nDescribe something you shipped that you owned end to end. What was hard about it, what did you get wrong, and what would you do differently?\nWhere has AI-assisted development made you faster, and where have you seen it make a codebase worse?\nApplications without answers to both will not be reviewed. This is deliberate.\nWe are an equal opportunities employer. You must be eligible to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship, hold a valid visa or UK residency, be currently based in the UK, and be prepared to undergo high-level security clearance.\nNO AGENCIES. Please do not attempt to canvass from here.\nBenefits\nWhat we offer:\nSalary of 55,000 to 60,000 GBP\nCompany pension scheme\nGym membership\nHybrid working, three days a week in our Farringdon, London office\nMultiple progression routes, through leadership, product or deep technical work\nSerious investment in AI tooling and training\nA vibrant location with a top-quality coffee shop next door and a food market outside","description_format":"text","description_chars":5070,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Gym membership","Hybrid work"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United Kingdom","iso":"GB","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Event Management"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-09T16:54:09Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":21,"reasons":["conf:2","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-10T05:45:15Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":79374,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/eventogy-product-engineer-front-end-leaning-full-stack","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/eventogy-product-engineer-front-end-leaning-full-stack.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-11T01:27:17Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2173,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2827,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-12T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":1836646},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=1836646"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Feventogy-product-engineer-front-end-leaning-full-stack"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Feventogy-product-engineer-front-end-leaning-full-stack"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Feventogy-product-engineer-front-end-leaning-full-stack"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/eventogy-product-engineer-front-end-leaning-full-stack\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Feventogy-product-engineer-front-end-leaning-full-stack"}]}
