Your Role

We are looking for a Trust & Safety Product Manager to own the product and technical delivery of our compliance and safety initiatives across our platforms.

You will turn safety requirements into effective product features, moderation capabilities, third-party integrations, and measurable improvements. Working closely with Compliance, Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Customer Support, you will help us identify risks earlier, build safeguards into new features, and continuously improve how our safety systems perform.

This is a newly created role within our Product team, working directly with our CTO, Michael Monin and our Legal & Safety Lead, Maxwelle Sokol. You will have significant ownership from the outset and the opportunity to shape how the safety product function develops as the company continues to grow.

Our platform serves adults and permits lawful adult content. We are looking for someone who can navigate sensitive, context-dependent issues thoughtfully, protecting users and enforcing clear boundaries without unnecessarily restricting legitimate expression.

Here’s what you can expect:

Key Responsibilities

• Safety & legal product strategy and delivery. Translate safety policies, legal requirements (e.g., in online safety and AI-specific laws such as the EU AI Act), incident findings, and user feedback into clear product requirements, acceptance criteria, and engineering work. Drive initiatives from problem definition through implementation, testing, launch, and ongoing improvement.

• Internally developed moderation technologies. Own the product side of improvements to our in-house moderation systems, including our proprietary LLM technology EverGuard. Partner with Engineering and AI/ML teams on, e.g., detection capabilities, moderation rules and thresholds, and appropriate interventions across user inputs and AI-generated outputs.

• Third-party safety partnerships and integrations. Lead the technical and product lifecycle of third-party safety partnerships, from identifying needs and evaluating providers to implementation, testing, rollout, and ongoing performance management.

• Safety dashboards, monitoring, and quality assurance. Establish dashboards and a recurring QA that help us proactively identify emerging issues, prevent harmful content, and ensure that our T&S measures are working as intended.

• Red teaming and adversarial testing. Own our testing for how moderation systems and product safeguards respond to deliberate misuse and difficult edge cases. Track findings through remediation, retesting, and closure-not just delivery of a report.

• Trust and safety reviews for new features. Establish and run a dedicated T&S review for new features, with proportionate reviews for material changes to existing features, models, and integrations. Engage early in product design to identify foreseeable misuse, affected users, and appropriate safeguards.

• Incident follow-through and continuous improvement. Coordinate the product and engineering response to significant safety issues, working with colleagues responsible for incident management, policy, and user support.

Your Qualifications

• Data-driven product decisions that align with legal/ethical standards: You can name the metrics you want to influence, explain why it matters, and say whether your work actually moved them. You’ve run A/B tests, product experiments, data deep-dives, or lightweight user research and used the findings to shape what was built next. You can assess risks associated with user-generated content, transactions, and interactions, and translate these into policies that align with legal and ethical standards, trackers/dashboards, and strategic planning;

• Content moderation and AI guardrails: You understand how product realities and safety requirements interact on a tech platform; you explore strategies for efficient and scalable content moderation, including automation, machine learning, human review and user reporting.

• Legal/safety work experience: You have worked closely with trust and safety and compliance requirements and understand how to translate and implement these for a consumer-facing product;

• Collaborative mindset and communication: You work cross-functionally with engineering, legal, operations, and customer support teams - these are your partners and support system, not your adversaries or a box to be checked. You ask the right questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and are fully fluent and comfortable in English;

• AI fluency: You are completely comfortable working with and leveraging AI tools. You actively seek out and experiment with new tools and techniques without waiting for a project or manager to require them;

• You are point person for third-party partnerships: You proactively test and can autonomously handle discussions with third-party tools and integrations that affect our compliance and safety posture;

• You take ownership and move without waiting for certainty: Comfortable with ambiguity, you create clarity by investigating, building, testing, and learning rather than waiting for a complete brief. You balance execution against planning, address blockers early, and take responsibility for the outcome rather than waiting to be told what to do, caring more about reaching the right result than following a fixed process;

• You are comfortable with the product category: you are fully comfortable building products based on uncensored models and content;

Bonus points

• You have previous legal/compliance education

• Professional experience or interest in AI

• Experience with consumer-facing features, particularly in the entertainment or gaming industry
