The Technical Consultant will operate in a collaborative, team-focused environment, ensuring adherence to our strict quality control and program delivery methodology.\nThis is a customer-facing role that requires a thorough understanding of our Control Center software platform and the infrastructures that it will interact with along with a detailed understanding of the subsystem edge devices used by our end-user and reseller partner customers. The role requires a strong project management ability coupled with technical knowledge which encompasses development, database administration, and network engineering.\nWhat you'll do:\nDevelop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Control Center software solutions and capabilities.\nProvide technical leadership and become an authority in all aspects of the design, build, integration, test, quality control (QC), commission, and deployment of Control Center solutions.\nProvide realistic project estimates under Control Center project methodologies.\nCreate detailed design documentation for customer submission, review, and approval.\nPossess an in-depth knowledge of the setup, configuration, and operation of 3rd party subsystem edge devices (closed-circuit television (CCTV)/Access Control/Intruder Alarm, etc.) and their integration with Everbridge software solutions.\nProduce detailed functional and operational customer requirements specifications based on site visits, requests for information (RFI), requests for proposals (RFP), and other commercial and technical documentation.\nExternal:\nPerform installation and configuration tasks to deliver Control Center software solutions at end-user and reseller partner customer locations.\nBecome proficient in training end-user customers and reseller partners in all aspects of Control Center solutions.\nInternal:\nEnsure that a high degree of consistency and quality are adhered to across all product deployments to meet agreed Statements of Work (SoW)/Functional Design Specifications (FDS) for a given project.\nEnsure detailed documentation is maintained throughout each project to ensure a smooth handover to Customer Support once the project is completed.\nProvide constructive feedback and intelligence to the Product and Development teams to enhance the company’s solutions and commissioning capability.\nParticipate in factory acceptance test (FAT), site acceptance test (SAT), and user acceptance test (UAT)\nProvide onsite and remote 3rd-level technical support\nWhat you'll bring:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or software-related technical degree or equivalent experience\nStrong written and verbal presentation and communication skills; including the ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents.\nSuccessfully managed to complete projects related to technical deployments in the security industry.\nTrack record of installing, implementing, testing, and training end users on a high-level application suite like Document Management, Fleet Management, electronic point of sale (EPOS), or enterprise resource planning (ERP).\nDemonstrable experience in configuring personal computers (PCs), and servers and troubleshooting the Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.\nFamiliarity with database architectures and methodologies;
