We are creating a customer focused, technology enabled platform that makes purchasing and owning an EV more transparent, efficient, and enjoyable.\nAs Ever expands into new markets, we need a disciplined procurement function that equips each location to launch successfully and operate efficiently.\nAbout the Role\nThe Procurement Manager leads procurement, vendor coordination, and purchasing strategy across Ever's Sales and Recon operations, with a primary focus on supporting new site launches and continued expansion. \nThis role ensures each location has the equipment, tools, supplies, vendors, and operational resources needed to launch successfully and operate efficiently. The Procurement Manager partners closely with Expansion, Operations, Recon, Sales, Finance, and Accounting to manage procurement from early planning and vendor sourcing through purchasing, delivery, and site readiness.\nOutside of active launches, this role focuses on strengthening Ever's vendor network, reducing costs, standardizing purchasing, and preparing for upcoming launches.\nWhat You Will Do\nLaunch Procurement and Readiness\nOwn procurement planning and execution for new Sales and Recon locations.\nDevelop site specific equipment, tool, supply, and inventory requirements.\nBuild purchasing plans aligned with launch timelines and operational readiness milestones.\nPlace and track purchase orders to ensure critical items arrive on time.\nCoordinate deliveries, installations, and vendor scheduling with project and site teams.\nIdentify long lead items and procurement risks early to prevent launch delays.\nSupport vehicle logistics and readiness needs associated with new site launches.\nTravel to launch locations as needed to support procurement and onsite readiness.\nVendor Management and Sourcing\nSource, evaluate, and onboard vendors across equipment, tools, supplies, facility services, and other operational needs.\nObtain and compare quotes to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and service.\nNegotiate pricing, terms, service expectations, and purchasing agreements.\nBuild relationships with preferred vendors capable of supporting Ever as we scale.\nManage vendor performance, delivery timelines, quality, and responsiveness.\nIdentify opportunities to consolidate vendors and leverage company wide purchasing volume.\nPurchasing and Budget Management\nOwn purchasing activity within approved launch and operational budgets.\nMaintain visibility into committed, ordered, received, and outstanding spend.\nPartner with Expansion, Finance, and Accounting to track budgets, invoices, and purchase approvals.\nIdentify cost saving opportunities without sacrificing operational quality or readiness.\nMaintain accurate purchasing records, including orders, vendors, pricing, and agreements.\nInventory and Standardization\nEstablish standard equipment, tool, and supply packages for Ever facilities.\nMaintain appropriate inventory levels for commonly used operational supplies and launch materials.\nDevelop reorder points and purchasing standards to reduce emergency and unnecessary spend.\nMaintain preferred vendor lists, pricing benchmarks, and equipment specifications.\nBuild and continuously improve Ever's procurement playbook so every launch becomes more efficient and predictable.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nThree or more years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, vendor management, operations, or a related field.\nExperience managing multiple vendors, purchase orders, budgets, and delivery timelines.\nStrong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills.\nHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.\nComfort building processes and systems in a fast paced, high growth environment.\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to compare pricing, evaluate vendors, and identify cost saving opportunities.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with Operations, Finance, Project Management, and site leadership.\nAbility and willingness to travel as needed to support new site launches, vendor coordination, procurement activities, and onsite operational readiness.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting automotive, retail, construction, facilities, or multi site operations.\nExperience supporting new site openings or expansion programs.\nWhy Join Ever\nBuild the procurement function for a growing EV retailer.\nCreate purchasing standards and vendor relationships that will support Ever's expansion into new markets.\nWork closely with leaders across Expansion, Operations, Recon, Sales, Finance, and Accounting.\nHelp make each new Ever location more efficient, predictable, and ready to serve customers from day one.\nCompensation\nThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 for a San Francisco hiring location. The range may vary based on the geographic hiring location.
