This role is responsible for designing scalable, compliant, and data-driven solutions while leveraging automation and AI to continuously improve system efficiency, user experience, and business outcomes.\nThis role is ideal for a systems-minded analyst who thrives at the intersection of process design, technology optimization, and innovation.\nResponsibilities:\nWorkday Functional Ownership\nServe as the primary functional lead for Workday Learning, Recruiting, Talent, and Advanced Compensation modules.\nDesign, configure, test, and deploy Workday business processes, frameworks, eligibility rules, and security configurations.\nEnsure system configurations align with evolving business needs, compliance requirements, and enterprise standards.\nProcess Optimization & Automation\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes and streamline end-to-end workflows across recruiting, talent, and compensation.\nPartner with People Tech engineers to design and implement Workday automation, including Extend apps, RaaS-based solutions, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows.\nReduce operational friction by eliminating redundant approvals, improving self-service capabilities, and enhancing system usability.\nAI Enablement & Innovation\nLeverage AI tools to optimize recruiting workflows, talent insights, and compensation analysis.\nPartner with internal teams and vendors to evaluate, pilot, and implement AI-driven solutions that enhance People Team effectiveness.\nTranslate business needs into scalable AI-enabled system solutions.\nStakeholder Partnership\nAct as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Finance, and HR leadership.\nLead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.\nDrive adoption through change management, documentation, and training.\nData, Reporting & Insights\nPartner with People Analytics to ensure reliable, actionable data across recruiting, talent, and compensation.\nDesign and support dashboards, reports, and audit frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making.\nEnsure data integrity, consistency, and readiness for audit and compliance needs.\nGovernance, Compliance & Change Management\nEnsure all system changes follow established change management and compliance standards (SOX, ITGC, audit requirements).\nSupport quarterly and annual audits by maintaining documentation, testing evidence, and approval workflows.\nParticipate in Workday release planning, testing, and deployment activities.\nSkills and Experience needed for success in this role:\nRequired\n7+ years of experience in Workday functional configuration, with deep expertise in Talent and/or Advanced Compensation.\nStrong experience designing and optimizing complex Workday business processes.\nExperience supporting advanced compensation programs, annual compensation reviews, or performance cycles.\nProven ability to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.\nExperience partnering cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and IT teams.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nPreferred\nExperience with Workday Extend, RaaS, integrations, or automation frameworks.\nExposure to or hands-on experience with AI-enabled HR solutions.\nFamiliarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, ITGC).\nWhat Success Looks Like\nTalent and Compensation processes are highly automated, scalable, and user-friendly.\nManual effort and cycle times are reduced through automation and AI-driven solutions.\nStakeholders have reliable, self-service access to data and insights.\nSystem changes are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and with minimal disruption.\nThe People Technology platform continuously evolves to support business growth.\nWhere: Remote, US\nThe EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., New Zealand, and Australia.
