The Director will be a member of the firm's Corporate vertical technology team, responsible for building and supporting software solutions for corporate functions (e.g., Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, and other internal business units). The Director will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the team, managing the delivery of software solutions, establishing best practices/patterns for emerging technologies, building team morale, resource management, and budgeting. This is a hands-on role - the Director is expected to remain technically engaged and contribute directly to development work, not manage exclusively from a distance.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nEnsure quality and consistency of software architecture by conducting regular code reviews\nRemain hands-on with development work as needed - writing code, prototyping solutions, and troubleshooting alongside the team, particularly for complex or high-priority efforts\nManage multiple projects and understand interdependency of multiple work streams across corporate functions\nCollaborate with leadership and business stakeholders to identify strategic wins, reduce technical debt, and summarize trade-offs\nWork with Business Analysts to scope solutions and provide estimates\nPartner with corporate function leads (Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical solutions\nLeadership and mentorship for day-to-day guidance of the development team\nWork continuously to boost team camaraderie and morale\nManage resourcing and budget for the team, including vendor/consultant oversight where applicable\nIdentify opportunities to leverage Generative AI, intelligent automation, and modern development tools to improve employee productivity and business processes.\nSpecific Qualifications:\n4-6 years of experience as a Software Development Manager, Development Supervisor, or Technical Lead with management responsibilities\nStrong, current hands-on engineering ability - this is a player-coach role, not management-only, and the Director should be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and writing production code when needed\n5-10 years of .NET framework/core C#, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming\nExperience delivering software solutions using Azure development products such as Data Factory, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management\nExperience delivering software solutions for corporate/back-office functions (Finance, HR, Legal, or similar)\nExperience with API and/or data integration development (e.g., REST/SOAP APIS, message queues, or system to system data integrations)\nExperience developing ETL processes with MSSQL\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to work directly with non-technical business stakeholders\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAzure Databricks\nWorkday Finance and HCM\nActiveBatch\nGenAI/LLM integration experience (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Copilot, ML model development)\nExpected Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $210,000 \nThis position requires valid United States work authorization and is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.\nIn addition to a competitive base salary, employees may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus delivered in the form of cash and/or deferred equity.
