As a Finance Intern, you'll work on meaningful business priorities, learn from experienced professionals and leaders, and build the analytical, technical, and business skills that can help launch your career. Internship placements may span Investments, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting and Financial Reporting, Corporate Tax, Internal Audit, AP & Expense, and Finance Systems & Transformation. Your experience will vary by team placement and business needs, giving you the opportunity to see how Finance helps drive performance and decision-making across Everest.\nThe Program will run for 10 weeks: May 31, 2027 - August 6, 2027\nYour Impact and Opportunity\nAs a Finance Intern, you will contribute to meaningful work while learning how finance supports performance, reporting, controls, decision-making, and transformation across a global organization. Depending on your placement, you experiences will include:\nGain hands-on experience in areas such as investments, financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, tax, internal audit, and finance transformation. \nAnalyze financial and business data and help turn insights into reports, dashboards, and recommendations. \nSupport budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, close activities, controls, and other Finance priorities, depending on your placement. \nContribute to projects focused on improving Finance processes, systems, reporting, and automation. \nCollaborate with Finance colleagues and business partners across a global insurance and reinsurance organization. \nPresent your work, build relationships with leaders, and participate in networking, professional development, and intern events. \nGain hands-on experience using AI and emerging technologies to solve real business challenges, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making.\nWhat You Bring: Experience & Qualifications\nCurrent sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with pivot tables and lookup functions is a plus.\nCuriosity and enthusiasm for learning new finance systems, tools, and technologies.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively, and take initiative.\nLeadership or involvement in campus, community, or extracurricular activities is a plus.\nDisplay leadership and organizational skills and involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs/organizations, your community, etc. \nHave an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. \nEverest does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
