We are a global team focused on disciplined capital allocation and long-term value creation for all stakeholders, who care deeply about our impact on communities and the wider world.\nYour Impact & Opportunity\nDuring this Summer Internship, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and gain exposure across multiple areas of Information Technology (IT):Insurance and Reinsurance, Data Analytics and Insights, IT Risk Management, IT Strategy and Execution, Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Operations, Cloud Modernization and Migration, AI Innovation and Automation, and more!\nWork collaboratively on a cross functional group project(s) with fellow IT Interns, presenting to management at the conclusion of the program\n\nThrough your project assignments, work with staff and management across IT on a variety of supporting work, including, but not limited to:\n\nCollaborate on activities within your project teams, participatingin requirements gathering, analysis, designing solutions, creating specifications, assembling presentations, solution developmentand testing\n\nPartnerwith business and subject matter experts (SMEs) to transform existing processes tomore efficient and automated digital solutions\n\nElicit, document, and organize requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria\n\nResearch, collect and analyze data, identifychallenges/barriersand provide recommendations\n\nGain familiarity with performance metrics, enhance the design of dashboards to track and enhance the visibility into potential data leakage\n\nParticipate in learning activities to enhance your understanding of one or more of the following:\n\nAgile methodologies for system development\n\nThe usage and administration of security tools that control and monitorcyber security\n\nFirewall, IDS/IPS logs, web content filtering logs, net flow device logs, and anti-virus logs\n\nBasic security audits and security logs to uncover possible securityviolations\n\nGovernance activities of the department, IT Data Loss Prevention tools, and vulnerability and risk analysis\n\nOpportunities to engage in volunteer activities and IT Cultural and after-hourevents\n\nGrow and develop while participatingin a variety of leaderled, professional and personal development workshops, networking events, and the like.\n\nStart strong-your internship experience prepares you for a smooth transition into our Rotational Development Program!\n\nWhat You Bring: Experience & Qualifications\nYou are a junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university, preferably majoring in: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, ,Information Security, IT Risk Management, or related field\n\nExcellent communication, analytical, critical thinking, collaboration, skills\n\nFamiliarity with the documentation of business processes\n\nLeadership or involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs/organizations, your community, etc.\n\nAbility to work in a high volume, fast paced environment while managingmultiple projects, priorities, and being attentive to deadlines\n\nStrong desireand motivation to develop a career in information technology\n\nStrong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills\n\nMust model the highest degree of moral and ethical behavior while maintainingconfidential information\n\nProficiencyin MS Office software, SQL Server, Excel VBA, R, and/or Python is a plus\n\nExperience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus\n\nYou have an understanding ofdata warehouse, analytics, reporting capabilities, and pricing models will also bea plus\n\nThe salary for this position is $1,000 per week. The offered rate of compensationis based on individual education, experience, qualificationsand work location.
