We are a global team focused on disciplined capital allocation and long-term value creation for all stakeholders, who care deeply about our impact on communities and the wider world.\nYour Impact & Opportunity\nAs an Intern, you will be placed in one of our dynamic lines of business within Insurance or Reinsurance\n\nYou will support our casualty and property teams in the day-to-day underwriting process as well as meet with brokers as part of the overall internship.\n\nCollaborate onthe pre-qualification of deals and providesummariestotheunderwriting teamforsubmission flow.\n\nAssistin classifying all submissions received, quoted, declined etc. from our tracker for reporting and data analytics.\n\nShadow underwriters - Information gathering and exposure analysis.\n\nMonitor rate change reports and similar account tracking reports.\n\nGrow and develop whileparticipatingin a varietyofleaderled, professional and personal development workshops, networking events, and the like.\n\nStart strong-your internship experience prepares you for a smooth transition into our Rotational Development Program!\n\nWhat You Bring: Experience & Qualifications\nYou are a junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university\n\nProficiencyin Microsoft Office software, especially Excel\n\nExcellent analytical, organizational, communication and collaboration skills\n\nLeadership or involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs/organizations, your community, etc.\n\nAbility to work in a high volume, fast paced environment while managing multiple projects and priorities\n\nEverest does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates mustpossessthe requisite permanent US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration\nThe salary for this position is$800- $1,000per week.
