You will interact and support several aspects of accounting, financial analysis, and reporting for the group. This is a hybrid position where you are required to be in the office three days a week and the remaining days you can work from home.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nAccounting and reporting of investments on a U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory basis.\nParticipate in the monthly and quarterly investment close process.\nPreparation of various U. S. statutory investment schedules.\nPreparation of U.S. GAAP and SEC investment disclosures (10-Q, 10-K).\nAssist with local reporting of foreign branches and subsidiaries.\nCoordinate with financial reporting and investment management teams.\nPreparation of exhibits and schedules to demonstrate establishment and maintenance of internal controls.\nProviding monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses along with account reconciliations.\nParticipation in ad-hoc analyses and strategic projects determined by the needs of senior management.\nWork Experience & Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree (or equivalent degree) in accounting.\nThis position is open to business graduates and others who have accounting experience.\nCertified Public Accountant (or equivalent certification) preferred.\nAbility to work independently.\nHighly skilled in math, accounting, and financial processes.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nDetail oriented and highly organized.\nSkilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nHighly proficient with Excel.\nKnowledge of PAM and Bloomberg a plus.\nKnowledge of Oracle a plus.\nInsurance/ reinsurance industry experience a plus.\nThe base salary range for this position is $51,000 - $65,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
