delivery for Everest Global Markets across underwriting workflow, market platform integrations, pricing, policy administration, data, reporting, and regulatory change.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who can turn business priorities into clear delivery plans, keep teams focused, and give senior stakeholders transparent, decision-ready visibility of progress, risk, budget, and value.\nThe ideal candidate will bring strong software engineering experience, agile delivery discipline, London Market awareness, excellent stakeholder management, and the confidence to operate across business, technology, vendor, and global delivery teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn a portfolio platforms and applications and ensure the smooth delivery of London Market technology initiatives from planning through implementation and transition to BAU.\nEnsure that Solution Architecture for changes can be successfully implemented by platform engineering teams.\nOwn delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, budgets, resources, and governance.\nRun agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery approaches based on the needs of the initiative.\nPartner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to shape priorities, manage backlogs, and link delivery to OKRs and measurable business value.\nPrepare crisp senior-level reporting, including RAG status, SteerCo packs, delivery dashboards, financial summaries, risks, issues, and decisions required.\nIdentify and resolve risks, issues, impediments, and cross-team dependencies before they impact delivery.\nCoordinate delivery across business, engineering, QA, architecture, data, operations, vendors, and global delivery teams.\nUse delivery metrics and KPIs to improve transparency, predictability, team performance, and continuous improvement.\nEnsure delivery aligns with enterprise technology standards, architecture governance, information security, regulatory expectations, and operational readiness.\nChampion and innovate opportunities to leverage AI to accelerate delivery speed and quality across the Software Delivery Lifecycle.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nStrong software engineering experience across platforms in the London Market such as SEND, IRIS, Guidewire Policy Centre, as well as experience in bespoke software engineering using languages and platforms such as Java, .Net, Azure etc.\nStrong proven delivery capability across complex technology change, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, dependency, and stakeholder management.\nDeep understanding of London Market insurance, specialty insurance, Lloyd’s, delegated authority, or broader commercial insurance processes.\nExperience with underwriting workflow, placement platforms, quote-to-bind, policy administration, bordereaux, bureau processes, downstream reporting, or regulatory change.\nConfident applying agile, lean, hybrid, and traditional project delivery models in the right context.\nHands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Tempo, PPM, and delivery reporting dashboards.\nStrong facilitation, coaching, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.\nAbility to influence senior business and technology leaders and drive clear decisions.\nClear, concise communicator who can simplify complex delivery topics for executive, business, and technical audiences.\nData-led mindset with the ability to use metrics to improve delivery performance and predictability.\nComfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, distributed teams, and shifting demands.\nStrategic enough to see the bigger picture and hands-on enough to unblock delivery.\nProfessional Experience and Qualifications\nExtensive experience in Software Engineering and managing portfolios of change on a set of platforms is essential.\nProven track record delivering complex technology change in insurance, financial services, or regulated environments.\nLondon Market, Lloyd’s, and specialty insurance experience is essential.\nExperience of implementing Underwriting Workbench platforms for the London Market and integrations with Whitespace and PPL are essential.\nExperience in enabling teams to use AI throughout the Software Delivery Lifecycle to increase productivity is essential.\nExperience managing vendors, contractors, distributed teams, and global delivery models.\nTechnical qualifications (such as TOGAF, Java, .Net, Azure), other qualifications (such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PMP, or PRINCE2), or a degree in computer science/IT is advantageous but not essential.\nSuccess in this Role
