We are a global team focused on disciplined capital allocation and long-term value creation for all stakeholders, who care deeply about our impact on communities and the wider world.\nThe primary purpose of this role is to partner in the development and execution of the Chile underwriting strategy and support to the Active Underwriter and the wider underwriting community across Everest Global Markets in its delivery.\nCore Responsibilities:\nProduce, Underwrite and service accounts and assist with Property & Energy underwriting and departmental workflow systems, processes, and related issues as necessary\nExpand the Property & Energy portfolio in line with controls, underwriting strategy, and guidelines, while always maintaining a focus on bottom line underwriting profit and delivery\nResponsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key brokers and clients \nUnderwrite and price Property & Energy risks, including all forms of distribution, and determine the acceptability of risks for underwriting\nBind various coverages subject to authority level and answer inquiries from producers\nPrepare quotations and formal proposals on new and renewal business\nEnsure that documentation is completed timely and accurately according to standards\nAssist Head of the LoB in addressing and resolving overdues, workflow, and various clerical issues as necessary\nEffectively communicate with management on all issues both within and outside the area as needed\nInteract and coordinate activities with other departments\nLiaise with other underwriting departments as necessary\nRecommend new procedures and programs were warranted\nFurnish intelligence on the Property & Energy market, including competitor strengths and weaknesses\nResponsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and / or carry out responsibilities and / or administrative activities\nDevelop business through execution of new ideas and strategies\nDemonstrate curiosity and a willingness to learn and responsibly use approved AI, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, effectiveness, and business outcomes.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or a related field\n4-6 years of professional work experience\nAdvanced English (required)\nOutstanding interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching, and development skills\nProficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools\nWhat if I don’t meet every requirement?
