It's ownership of the financial engine for a portfolio of growing software businesses.\nYou'll be accountable end-to-end for the accounting integrity of your portfolio: closing the books accurately, building and leading a team of local finance experts to meet French statutory and regulatory requirements, and making sure every number that reaches Everfield's leadership is right and on time. But the job doesn't stop at accuracy. You'll sit next to Business Unit Leaders as their financial conscience and commercial sparring partner - coaching them on the numbers, challenging their growth plans, and pushing them to allocate resources where they'll actually compound.\nEverfield deliberately gives this role more scope than a typical FP&A or controller seat carries at this career stage. You'll run the accounting, build and lead the regional finance team, and shape how each business thinks about growth - the full stack, across multiple companies.\nWhat You'll Do\n Own the numbers\nBe accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of monthly reporting (management P&L, KPIs, operating metrics) for each business in your portfolio - not just its preparation.\nBuild and manage a team of local financial experts to meet French statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.\nGuide each business's finance and accounting team through migration onto Everfield's NetSuite instance.\nOwn the accuracy and timeliness of the underlying accounting work behind every number you report.\nBuild and defend annual budgets and rolling forecasts, incorporating strategic initiatives and long-term expectations.\nPrepare Quarterly Update Review (QUR) packs for Everfield's CEO, CFO, and COO.\n Drive the growth agenda\nCoach Business Unit Leaders on financial acumen - make sure they understand and consistently apply the Everfield ratios, not just report against them.\nChallenge and support Business Unit Leaders in applying Everfield's prescribed revenue system to their business.\nHelp each business spot operating efficiencies, report headcount accurately, and manage overhead with intent.\nPartner with Business Unit Leaders on charting expense management and aligning resources toward growth, not just cost control.\nPlay an active role in integration of newly acquired businesses - systems, data, and reporting design, alongside the Integration Director and Head of BI.\nPartner with your Strategic Business Partner (SBP) counterpart on the day-to-day relationship with each business in your region.\nWho We're Looking For\nAn ambitious problem-solver who wants this role to be a stepping stone - experience on the path towards a CFO or Controller of a larger group of companies, or of a larger standalone business.\nStrong technical grounding in accounting practices and controls - you can run a clean close and hold a third-party provider to a standard, not just review their output.\nCommercial instinct to match: you can sit across from a Business Unit Leader and challenge their growth plan, not just report on whether they hit it.\nA completed university education plus a professional finance qualification (CA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).\n5+ years in Business Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Business Partnering.\nAbility to lead and build a team of regional finance specialists.\nComfort operating in a decentralised, multi-entity, PE-backed environment - you'll manage stakeholders across businesses at very different stages of maturity.\nFluent in English and French; effective communicator at every level of an organisation, from bookkeeper to CEO.\nIdeally, a background in fast-growing technology or SaaS companies.\nWillingness to travel occasionally.\nWhat We Offer\nAttractive salary package with performance-based bonus.\nRemote flexibility.\nA collaborative team culture based on respect, ownership, and trust.\nAccess to international experts within the Everfield ecosystem - accelerate your personal and professional growth.\nRegular team events and company celebrations.\nInterview Process\nHere's what to expect and who you'll meet during the recruitment process:\nFirst interview with Talent Acquisition Manager (0.5 h)\nSecond interview with Hiring Manager (1.0 h)\nThird interview with Group Finance representatives (1.0 h)\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and ensure that no applicant is subject to less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, gender identity, marital status, race, colour, nationality, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, responsibilities for dependants, physical or mental disability.
