This is a local driving position operating a company-owned day cab tractor with a 53-foot trailer. There is no over-the-road (OTR) or interstate travel required.\nDuring the startup phase, the primary responsibility will be transporting inventory between Everflow Supplies distribution centers throughout New Jersey to support inventory transfers and operational needs. This role is ideal for an experienced driver who takes pride in safe driving, professionalism, and providing exceptional service.\nWhat You'll Do\nSafely operate a Class A day cab tractor with a 53-foot trailer.\nPerform local deliveries and inventory transfers between company distribution centers.\nConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.\nSecure and transport freight safely while complying with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.\nVerify loads for accuracy and ensure products are transported without damage.\nMaintain accurate delivery records, logs, and inspection reports.\nCommunicate effectively with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and management regarding schedules and delivery status.\nAssist with loading and unloading when necessary.\nKeep the assigned vehicle clean and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.\nRepresent Everflow Supplies professionally when interacting with employees, customers, and vendors.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired\nValid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.\nMinimum 2 years of recent experience operating a 53-foot trailer.\nExperience with local delivery routes and distribution center transfers preferred.\nCurrent DOT Medical Card.\nAbility to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and DOT requirements.\nStrong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.\nDependable, punctual, and safety-oriented.\nPreferred\nExperience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.\nForklift experience is a plus.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nTarget Compensation Range: The posted pay of $232.50 per day represents the anticipated hiring pay for this position.
