We deliver absolute confidence in environments where failure is not an option.\nTITLE: Cloud Enterprise Architect II\nLocation: Preferred greater NOVA; Remote (U.S.) with travel to customer sites, cloud partner headquarters, and industry events.\nAbout the Role\nThe Cloud Enterprise Architect II is a senior technical leader within the Strategic Growth Office responsible for developing and executing cloud strategy across major hyperscale cloud providers. This role serves as a primary technical architect supporting cloud partnerships, secure cloud adoption, cloud-native solution development, and mission-critical customer environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design and development of secure multi-cloud, hybrid cloud, classified cloud, and edge-to-cloud architectures.\nServe as the primary technical architect supporting strategic relationships with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.\nDevelop joint reference architectures, migration frameworks, marketplace offerings, and solution accelerators with cloud partners.\nDesign secure cloud architectures integrating Zero Trust, Cross Domain Solutions, AI/ML services, DevSecOps practices, and cloud-native technologies.\nProvide technical leadership supporting strategic technology alliance partners and ecosystem relationships.\nLead executive-level customer engagements, architecture reviews, modernization workshops, and cloud transformation initiatives.\nRepresent the organization at industry conferences, technical events, and partner engagements.\nAuthor cloud reference architectures, white papers, technical blogs, migration guides, and best-practice documentation.\nDevelop multi-cloud deployment frameworks, operational playbooks, and secure cloud deployment guides.\nProvide technical enablement and training for sales, engineering, product, alliance, and customer success teams.\nKey Knowledge and Skills\nDeep knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, and secure cloud solution design.\nExpertise across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments.\nStrong experience with Kubernetes, containers, cloud networking, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering.\nKnowledge of Zero Trust, FedRAMP, RMF, NIST 800-53, cloud security, encryption, and secure software practices.\nExperience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, AI/ML cloud services, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud management.\nExecutive-level communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.\nAbility to collaborate across engineering, product management, sales, customer success, and alliance teams.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.\nKey Education Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 6-10 years of enterprise architecture, cloud engineering, or systems architecture experience.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience designing, deploying, or operating enterprise cloud environments.\nExperience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Federal Government customers preferred.\nOne or more cloud architecture certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional preferred.\nAdditional certifications such as CISSP, TOGAF, CKA, or RHCA are highly desirable.\nA reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:\n$185,100.00-273,200.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
