This individual will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure across both datacenter and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise networking and firewall technologies, and a strong understanding of secure, scalable, and high-performance network architectures.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, deploy, and manage complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 network topologies in hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environments \nAdminister, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise firewall solutions, with a focus on security and segmentation \nCollaborate with security, systems, and DevOps teams to support network infrastructure supporting mission-critical applications \nPerform capacity planning, performance tuning, and configuration management across network environments \nLead root cause analysis of network-related issues and outages \nContribute to documentation, diagrams, and runbooks for operational excellence \nSupport compliance initiatives through secure architecture and audit preparation \nRequired Qualifications:\n7+ years of professional experience in enterprise network engineering \nDemonstrated expertise in firewall configuration, rule management, and troubleshooting (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet, etc.) \nStrong experience with datacenter switching, routing, and network segmentation \nProven experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., VPCs, VPNs, routing tables, security groups) \nSolid understanding of protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLAN, VXLAN, IPsec, and DNS \nProficient in using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, or other packet analysis utilities \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Juniper switches or routers (e.g., EX, QFX, MX series) \nFamiliarity with Aruba ClearPass or similar NAC solutions \nExperience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) \nRelevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIS/JNCIP, AWS Networking Specialty) \nA reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:\n$113,100.00-149,300.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
