Because regular in-person collaboration is central to this job, we look for candidates who live within about 50 miles of the office.\nEverfox will consider reasonable accommodation as required by law.\nAbout the role:\nWe’re looking for a full-time Kubernetes and Linux Container Platform Engineer to join our team developing and maintaining the container infrastructure that supports EverShieldour Insider Risk platform. In this role, you will contribute to the accelerated development of our Evershield Platform while supporting the ongoing maintenance of our container platform, helping the team meet current and future product delivery commitments.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong experience with Kubernetes, container technologies, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, along with expertise in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, reliable platform solutions. Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with team members to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain container infrastructure to support EverShield’s evolving needs.\nLocation: Hybrid - Salt Lake City, Utah\nKey Responsibilities\nWorking collaboratively with team members to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and deliver a scalable Linux-based container platform \nRemaining up to date on current best practices, trends, and industry developments and actively sharing that knowledge with other team members \nVerifying product features are thoroughly implemented, ensuring all requirements are met, using robust technical solutions and high-quality coding standards \nKey Experience and Education qualifications:\nBS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or equivalent work experience \nStrong problem solving, troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills \nStrong time management skills and able to take initiative and work independently on concurrent projects \n4+ years of professional experience using container technologies to build, deploy, maintain, or administer containers in a production environment \n3+ years of professional experience building, maintain, or administering Kubernetes clusters in a production environment \n5+ years of professional experience administering and/or developing applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This includes; \nDemonstrable coding/scripting experience in Bash. \nA solid understanding and experience using the Linux command line and its associated tools and utilities. \nA solid understanding of fundamental networking concepts. \nExperience with server virtualization systems such as VMware ESXi/vSphere. \nExperience with Ansible and familiarity with YAML and JSON. \nExperience deploying applications to AWS and/or Azure in a production environment (compute, storage, networking, image creation, etc.) \nIf needed, ability to pass a government background check \nNice to Have\nExperience with installation, administration, and configuration of Prometheus and Grafana. \nKnowledgeable in Linux and application security best practices, SELinux, DISA STIG, etc. \nExperience with UI frameworks and technologies (HTML, JavaScript, REST APIs, React) \nExperience with CI/CD and configuration management tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory) \nExperience writing automated tests \nExperience using Git for version control \nExperience working in an Agile/Scrum environment \nExperience with Python and Golang \nA reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:\n$125,100.00-164,000.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
