This role involves utilizing various engineering and interpersonal skills to enhance the quality of our products. As a member of the QA Software Integration team, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and executing complex manual and automated tests across our portfolio of cybersecurity products.\nLocation: Hybrid - Dallas/Fort Worth, TX or Richardson, TX\nWhat you will do:\nCreate scripts in various programming languages to automate testing of Linux-based cybersecurity applications.\nPlan, create and execute integration tests across Everfox’s portfolio of products.\nValidate cybersecurity software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.\nCreate, update, and execute software testing processes in an agile scrum environment.\nMaintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.\nAnalyze test results/data to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action.\nConsult with members of the development team in resolution of challenges.\nDevelop professional expertise, apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.\nProvide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals and regulatory approval.\nApply standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in daily workflow.\nExercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.\nContribute to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives.\nQualifications:\nAbility to obtain US-government-issued Secret Security Clearance.\nUniversity degree and 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience.\nExperience with Linux/Unix based operating systems.\nGood understanding of network protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, SFTP, IP) and network security (Firewall, RSA, PKI).\nTest automation using Linux shell scripting, Python etc., including experience with Pytest frameworks or similar.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, or equivalent).\nTeam player with strong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work from the office 2-3 days per week or on an as-required basis.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Lab Base Security Assessments.\nExperience using Zephyr Scale test case manager in JIRA.\nExperience with virtualized environments (VMware, Vsphere, ESXi).\nExperience utilizing GenAI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to accelerate test design, automation, and analysis.\nA reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:\n$98,900.00-129,200.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
