Reporting directly to the CFO, this position works alongside the Controller as a separate but collaborative finance leadership role and directly manages the Financial Analyst.\nWhile the Controller maintains primary responsibility for accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and the close process, the Accounting Manager focuses on forward-looking analysis, cost and inventory management, forecasting, and translating financial and operational data into actionable business insights.\nResponsibilities\nLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, including P&L forecasts, cash flow projections, working capital analysis, and departmental budgets.\nDevelop financial models, scenario analysis, and business cases to support strategic and operational decisions.\nManage and develop the Financial Analyst role, including establishing priorities and reviewing financial analysis and reporting.\nManage annual setting of model year pricing and standards to ensure continued profitability.\nPublish dealer inventory status with corresponding retail to track metrics and identify trends.\nPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other departments to improve cost visibility, productivity, and profitability.\nAnalyze product costs, bills of material, inventory, labor, and manufacturing data to identify trends and cost-reduction opportunities.\nProvide sales, product, customer, and margin analysis to support business planning and decision-making.\nDevelop dashboards, KPIs, and recurring management reporting for the CFO and leadership team.\nPartner with the Controller during month-end and year-end processes to ensure management reporting aligns with financial results.\nSupport implementation and continuous improvement of ERP, financial reporting, and business intelligence systems.\nPerform special projects and additional financial analysis as requested by the CFO.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.\n5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, FP&A, financial analysis, cost accounting, or a related role.\nManufacturing experience strongly preferred, including exposure to inventory, bills of material, standard costing, and manufacturing variances.\nStrong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.\nDemonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with automation such as Power BI dashboards or AI modeling that drive actionable insights, operational efficiency and predictive analytics.\nExperience with financial reporting systems (Preferred experience with SAGE).\nPrior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization.\nPhysical Requirements\nRegularly communicates verbally and in writing and operates a computer, phone, and other office equipment. Regularly required to sit and occasionally stand, walk, or move throughout the office and manufacturing facility. Occasionally must lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Appropriate PPE is required when entering designated production areas.\nWork Environment\nMost duties are performed in an office environment; however, this position will periodically work within manufacturing areas.
