In this role, you will help shape and maintain the application architecture landscape, ensuring solutions are scalable, future-proof, and aligned with business and technology objectives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, architects, and technical experts to guide architectural decisions and support the delivery of key initiatives.\nResponsibilities\nLead and support architecture activities for strategic initiatives and transformation programmes.\nDefine and maintain application architecture standards, roadmaps, and target architectures.\nAssess business initiatives from an architectural perspective and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.\nProvide guidance on application, integration, data, and cloud architecture topics.\nDevelop architecture deliverables such as roadmaps, solution designs, and governance documentation.\nCollaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimisation, standardisation, and innovation.\nSupport architecture governance processes, including reviews and architectural assessments.\nFacilitate workshops and discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nSupport development teams by ensuring solutions align with the target architecture and long-term strategy.\nStay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.\n Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or similar senior architectural roles.\nStrong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe, or Zachman.\nProven experience working in large, complex, international organisations.\nExperience with integration architecture and API-based ecosystems.\nExperience with data platforms, data governance, and data architecture.\nExperience with cloud technologies and hybrid architectures.\nExperience supporting digital transformation initiatives.\nExperience with business capability modelling and application portfolio management.\nStrong understanding of business, application, data, integration, and technology architecture domains.\nAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations.\nStrong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating across organisational boundaries.\nNice to Have\nExperience within the energy, utilities, renewables, manufacturing, infrastructure, transportation, telecommunications, or other asset-intensive sectors.\nExperience with IT/OT architecture and operational technology environments.\nKnowledge of Industrial IoT, telemetry, SCADA, or real-time operational data platforms.\nExperience supporting large-scale transformation or growth programmes.\nKnowledge of advanced analytics and data-driven operating models.\n
