Je bent een technisch aanspreekpunt voor ontwikkelteams en partners en helpt mee de technische richting te bepalen. Daarnaast initieer je verbeteringen en draag je bij aan de verdere professionalisering van observability binnen de organisatie.\nHoe draag je bij in deze rol?\nJe beweegt gemakkelijk tussen verschillende niveaus binnen de organisatie.\nJe kunt met developers en platform engineers diepgaand over architectuur, integraties en implementaties praten, maar ook met Product Owners en andere stakeholders bespreken waarom iets belangrijk is en welke waarde het oplevert.\nJe werkt nauw samen met DevOps- en platformteams en met externe partners zoals Datadog.\nJe bent proactief: je signaleert verbeterkansen, brengt initiatieven op gang en helpt het team en de organisatie om observability steeds verder te professionaliseren.\nJe geeft technische richting aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het centrale observability platform en helpt standaarden en best practices neer te zetten en te handhaven.\nJe ontwikkelt en implementeert oplossingen die self-service, standaardisatie en schaalbaarheid bevorderen, zodat de groei van het aantal aangesloten teams beheersbaar blijft.\nJe helpt governance en cost control verder vorm te geven, bijvoorbeeld rondom Data Access Control, tagging, sampling en het beheersen van het gebruik en de kosten van observability-functionaliteiten.\nJe initieert verbeteringen wanneer je ziet dat processen, techniek of samenwerking beter kunnen en brengt deze actief verder binnen de organisatie.\nJe werkt samen met Datadog aan het evalueren en introduceren van nieuwe functionaliteiten. Je vertaalt nieuwe mogelijkheden naar concrete waarde voor de organisatie. Je helpt nieuwe vormen van observability te ontwikkelen, bijvoorbeeld ketenmonitoring en dashboards die technische observability-data vertalen naar relevante inzichten voor Product Owners en business stakeholders.\nJe begeleidt en ondersteunt teams door middel van sterke communicatie en kennisdeling, zodat teams steeds zelfstandiger en efficiënter gebruik kunnen maken van het centrale platform.\nJe stimuleert kennisdeling binnen het Observability Team en draagt actief bij aan een cultuur waarin technische kennis, ervaringen en best practices worden gedeeld.\nWerkomgeving\nJe komt terecht in een observability team dat verantwoordelijk is voor een centraal observability platform gebaseerd op Datadog. Het platform ondersteunt een groot aantal teams binnen een complexe IT-omgeving met onder meer Kubernetes/AKS, Azure, AWS en private hosting.\nDe focus ligt op observability, standaardisatie, governance, kostenbeheersing en het verder ontwikkelen van platformdiensten die schaalbaar en gebruiksvriendelijk zijn voor aangesloten teams.\n Je hebt ervaring met het ontwerpen, implementeren en verbeteren van observability-oplossingen in een complexe en grootschalige IT-omgeving.\nVermogen om technische uitdagingen om te zetten in praktische implementaties die bijdragen aan een gecentraliseerde datavisie.\nJe hebt gedegen kennis van observability tooling, zoals Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus, Loki, Grafana of de ELK stack.\nJe hebt ervaring met Datadog is een sterke pré.\nJe hebt ervaring met automation/CICD tooling zoals Azure Pipelines, Terraform, Helm en Ansible.\nJe hebt ervaring met cloud- en containerplatformen zoals Kubernetes/AKS, AWS en Azure.\nJe hebt ervaring met meerdere cloudplatformen en private hosting is een pré.\nJe kan gemakkelijk schakelen tussen verschillende niveaus: van diepgaande technische gesprekken met developers en engineers
