We trust that you’ll bring experience and knowledge that will uplift and uplevel the team, but we don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1.\nIn your role, you'll...\nArchitect and build test infrastructure as a product: frameworks, libraries, and services that make writing fast, reliable tests the path of least resistance.\nDesign scalable CI systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI) to keep feedback loops short as the codebase grows\nBuild internal developer tools that improve developer productivity and shorten iteration cycles\nTackle reliability problems such as flaky-test detection, test isolation, and environment/data management.\nDrive best practices in testing, observability, and release confidence across the engineering org\nResearch and implement new automation approaches - including the use of AI - to stay ahead of industry trends and keep our testing infrastructure cutting-edge.\nUse coverage and failure data to guide where engineering teams invest in testing, and influence architecture so code is testable by design\nMentor Engineers on test design, tooling, and automation best practices.\nAbout you\nYou have a BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent coursework.\nYou have at least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including time building or owning testing frameworks, CI systems, or developer tooling.\nYou write production-quality code in a language such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Javascript, Go or Rust.\nYou have designed or significantly improved CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI or GitLab, and you care about speed and reliability.\n You have experience building testing strategies across the stack (unit, integration, API, and end-to-end) and know when each is the right tool.\nYou have a mentorship mindset and enjoy helping others grow their technical capabilities with Cypress and other automation techniques.\nYou are a proactive problem-solver who can navigate Linux-based systems, and you enjoy debugging complex problems in distributed systems.\nYou are passionate about testing as a core part of how great software gets built.\n You are authorized to work in the United States without restrictions. The final offered salary will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate’s experience and skills.
