In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the high availability, scalability, and performance of critical services. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, you will architect infrastructure automation solutions that streamline engineering operations, empower developers through self-service lifecycle management, and support business growth.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nArchitect & Scale Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable multi-cloud and on-premises environments across VMware, OpenStack, and bare-metal Kubernetes clusters to meet organization-wide standards.\n\nAutomate CI/CD & Workload Lifecycles: Develop infrastructure-as-code and automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline day-to-day operations and enable self-service VM and container lifecycle management for engineering teams.\n\nDrive Observability & System Reliability: Establish enterprise observability standards-leveraging monitoring, logging, and metrics frameworks-to maintain high uptime and rapidly diagnose complex infrastructure issues.\n\nCollaborate & Modernize Operations: Partner with internal business units to translate technical requirements into robust architectures, share DevOps best practices, and continuously optimize platform efficiency.\n\nEnsure Operational Excellence: Provide ongoing infrastructure support across public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP), contribute to technical documentation, and participate in a \"follow-the-sun\" on-call rotation.\n\nWHAT YOU BRING\nCore Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).\n\nSystems & DevOps Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and automating large-scale VMware, OpenStack (Yoga or newer preferred), and enterprise Kubernetes environments on bare metal.\n\nInfrastructure Automation & Code: Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Python, Go, or Java) alongside infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.\n\nObservability & Networking: Solid foundation in core networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Open vSwitch) and experience implementing observability stacks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, Logstash, or Fluent-bit/Fluentd.\n\nCloud & Virtualization: Practical experience managing virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware, KubeVirt) and providing automated infrastructure support across major public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\n\nSoft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset suited for cross-functional teamwork.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience running virtualised or containerised infrastructure on Pure Storage products (FlashArray, FlashBlade, Portworx).\n\nProfessional certifications such as CKA, CKAD, VCP, or COA.\n\nDirect experience running production workloads with KubeVirt.\n\nFamiliarity working in Agile environments and using modern work-tracking tools.\n#LI-KS2 #LI-ONSITE\n\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:\nInnovation: We celebrate those who think critically, like a challenge, and aspire to be trailblazers.\nGrowth: We give you the space and support to grow along with us and to contribute to something meaningful.
