The Pure Engineering Team builds the industry’s most innovative, high-performance, energy-efficient and TCO-optimised storage solution. As part of this team, you will help productize this differentiated storage solution for our customers.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nPlan, lead, implement, and debug SSD hardware designs from concept through production.\nContribute to all phases of the product lifecycle, including architecture, design, documentation, validation, and sustaining.\nDrive interoperability testing across server/storage systems and SSDs.\nDiagnose and resolve HW-related issues in collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and JDMs.\nApply deep knowledge of major bus technologies such as PCIe, DDR, NAND, SPI, and I2C.\nEvaluate system-level tradeoffs in mechanical, thermal, power, and signal integrity design.\nWork with diagnostics/test engineers by reviewing test plans to ensure proper coverage\nLead failure analysis and root cause investigations to support field issues and customer escalations\nIncorporate automation and AI to enhance SSD design and validation processes.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.\nWe are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.\nWHAT YOU BRING\n7+ years of Hardware design and development including schematic, layout, and component selection.\nBS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar fields.\nExperience working on SSD hardware designs.\nExperience in validating hardware at the electrical, SI, protocol and functional levels.\nExperience with high speed oscilloscopes and differential probes.\nStrong experience with scripting languages (Python, BASH, etc)\nDetail-oriented, analytical, process savvy, and customer focused\nAbility to operate in a fast-paced changing business environment\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nSalary ranges are determined based on role, level and location.
